Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater Remains in the Ring

When you think of dinner entertainment for a night out on the town, what comes to mind? Most likely your first thought is not to attend a professional wrestling dinner theater. Yet, six times a year, you can join a sold-out crowd and enjoy such a dinner show.

In 2014 the new Manor Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater was mentioned in an article about new restaurant attractions. While newcomers were welcomed, we also said goodbye to other area dinner shows that closed their doors. Now, 5 years later, the Manor has seemed to have reached a happy platform and is still in the ring.

By limiting the number of shows performed to 6 per year, it is easier to attain a sell-out crowd. The wrestlers also have plenty of time to work on their performance. You see, the storyline at this professional wrestling dinner theater is every bit as important as the physical nature of the performance.

Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater

Performances and Storylines

2019 Schedule for Wrestling Dinner Show

The performance is all about good and evil. Lady Golden Eyes had entertained the village with only the best talent around. Meanwhile, a jealous Lord Darkness had other intentions in mind. He cast a spell upon the Manor and half of the performers turned evil. When both leaders disappear, chaos ensues and it is every warrior for themselves. It’s village vs. village in a contest to see who will win the prized Manor Medallion. Who will you cheer for?

Furthermore, the actual wrestling at the Manor Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater is not “real,” however, the acting is. It takes a great amount of skill to throw a fake punch. Consequently, if you don’t think it hurts to be tossed about a wrestling ring, think again! These actor/wrestlers are very fit performers. Their energy is contagious as well.

Fine Dining (in a sense)

Dinner courses are served throughout the show. The menu consists of tossed green salad, oven roasted chicken, green beans or vegetable medley, mashed potatoes and dinner rolls. Additionally, cheesecake is served for dessert. Beverages include ice tea, lemonade, coffee and water in which you replenish yourself at a beverage station.

Reserve Your Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater Tickets

Consequently, if you are not able to get into the July 19 show, reserve tickets at a future performance. Shows are tentatively set for September 27, November 29 and December 20. Check out their website for next years’ schedule at manorprowrestling.com. You may also send an email requesting reservations, especially if you are looking for a group discount.

Ticket prices start at $37 for kids (4-12 yrs.) & $43 for adults. Take advantage of the ‘couple up’ ticket at a discount of $75, or family of 4 at $145. VIP packages are also available which includes a photo and T-shirt. The cost includes the 2-hour show, three-course dinner, 7 pro wrestling matches, and a meet & greet after the show. Use the dinner show promo code: Manorpro and receive a 20% off discount (ends Jan. 1, 2020).

Finally, the Manor Professional Wrestling Dinner Theater is performed at Osceola Heritage Park, located next to the Silver Spurs Arena at 1875 Silver Spur Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34744. If you go, enjoy the blend of body slams and spandex; dropkicks and dropped jaws. This is sure to be a fun, unusual night out on the town.

Manor Professional Wrestling crowd

If verbal cheap shots and tag teams of ‘trouble boys’ are your thing, why not check out the gang at Capone’s Dinner & Show. They’re open (nearly) every night of the year and offer a great entertainment value. Their cast consists of some hysterical characters whose antics will ‘flair flop’ their way right into your heart. Before your vacation’s three-count, be sure to save a night for Capone’s. It’s one dinner show ring you won’t soon “fa-get-a-bout-it.

The Unique Prohibition Era Dinner Show Near Me

One of the best things about the dinner show near me is the unique prohibition era show that Capone’s offers. Unlike the other Kissimmee dinner show, you won’t find it at 8 other locations throughout the US & Canada. No sir. It is the one and only. Enjoyable and affordable too!

So when I discovered another prohibition era show called “Happy Hour Prohibition – The Musical,” well, I just had to read all of the details. No, you won’t find this pre-dinner show near me in Orlando or anywhere near you (most likely, anyway). For this, you’ll have to take to the high seas!

Dinner Show Near Me - Norwegian Cruise Line

Tantalizing madams will regale you with tales of bootleggers and some of the era’s most famous tunes.

Norwegian Bliss Cruise ShipNorwegian Cruise Line’s, Norwegian Bliss, will officially be christened in Seattle on May 30. However, the ship will stop in Port Miami on it’s way to its summer home. Next winter, it will set sail from its home port in New York. It is the cruise line’s largest ship holding 4,004 passengers. It offers destinations that include Alaska, Eastern Caribbean, Mexican Riviera, Bahamas/Florida/New York, Panama Canal and the Pacific Coast.

Wishing This Dinner Show Near Me

What does this cruise ship have to do with a newly discovered prohibition era show? The Norwegian Bliss is where you’ll find the new interactive show, Happy Hour Prohibition – The Musical being performed. It is certainly not a dinner show near me, but I can certainly wish for me to be near it someday!

Unlike Capone’s Dinner & Show set in gangland Chicago, this show will take to back in time to the world-famous Madam Lulu’s New Orleans speakeasy. A speakeasy set in the Big Easy!

Tantalizing madams will regale you with tales of bootleggers and some of the era’s most famous tunes. You’ll be dancing in the aisles, rocking the ship. This show takes place back in time to the eve of the Prohibition era. Of course, the cruise line will be offering once forbidden spirits of their own, each with a modern twist. Afterall, our drinking habits have changed significantly since January 16, 1919.

If this pre-dinner show isn’t enough to tempt you to come aboard, the Tony Award-Winning Broadway show, Jersey Boys, will also be performed aboard the Norwegian Bliss. Another show being performed will take you back to the 1950’s to ¡HAVANA! A show that celebrates Cuba’s music and culture. As with most cruise lines, the entertainment will be top-notch.

Norwegian Bliss

Of course, there is the ship itself featuring a 180-degree observation lounge. A ‘ship-within-a-ship’ called The Haven has its own penthouses, spa, sunbathing deck, and restaurant. The Norwegian Bliss also includes six infinity hot tubs as part of its two-pool sundecks. Also on board are a kids’ aqua park (with a cool slide), a decorative oversized chocolate fountain, The Cellars wine bar, the Mandara Spa, a fitness center, casino and much more. Are you ready to pack your bags? I am!

If you are looking for a great dinner show near you, and you are in the Orlando area, be sure to pay a (respectful) visit to the wise guys at Capone’s Dinner Show. If you are looking for a Mardi Gras twist to a prohibition era show, take to the high seas!

To book a cruise and see the show on the Norwegian Bliss, call 888-625-2784 or visit www.ncl.com for details. To make a reservation at the dinner show near me, go to alcapones.com. Both shows are unique and are sure to be unforgettable.

Spotlight: New Kissimmee Dinner Show – Big Bang Burlesque

First it was a wedding, then a Vegas Rat Pack, now Pacino’s is bringing in a new Kissimmee dinner show called the Big Bang Burlesque. As with Capone’s Dinner & Show, guests are transported back in time to the 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s when gangsters ruled and the nightclubs and dance halls featured cabaret entertainment. That, however, is about the only similarity between these two shows.

Capone’s features a show that includes a lot of comedy and is family-friendly. Most of the “seedy” show lines fly over the heads of the little ones. For the most part, if you allow your child to watch the evening television shows airing today, you’ll be fine in bringing the little ones to Capone’s show. The Big Bang Burlesque only allows guests 21 and over – for a good reason. As with Treasure Tavern, which is also an adult-only Orlando dinner show, Big Bang Burlesque takes the talent a step further in the sexy category. The show is saucy with plenty of striptease, twirling tassels (covering the bare minimum), flying feathers and more (less, actually – if you know what I mean). My recommendation: If going to a strip club would make you uncomfortable, do not go to this show. If you like a show “just naughty enough” then this show would be a fun experience.

Purchase Capone’s Tickets Now!

Another huge difference between these Kissimmee dinner shows is the meal experience. Capone’s features an all-inclusive package. For the low price of $31.99 (adult using coupon), you receive a delicious buffet, unlimited drinks (including several alcohol choices), dessert and the show. The experience will last anywhere from 2 to 3 hours, depending upon how long you linger after the show (or before the show if the Four Deuces pre-show is part of your evening plans). The Big Bang Burlesque is about an hour and a half, unless you arrive early for dinner drinks (not included). You have the option to include dinner ($55/ticket), or see the show only ($27/ticket). Tickets at the door for the show only are $35. Dinner includes a choice of one entreé: Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti with Meatballs, or Four Cheese Ravioli. You’ll receive a salad of mixed greens, tomatoes, black olives topped with Italian vinaigrette. (Capone’s has an entire salad bar.) Beverages include water, soda, ice tea and coffee. A full bar is available, but not included.

Big Bang Burlesque

The Big Bang Burlesque show has been successful in Tampa Bay for many years. With The Bella Room at Pacino’s Italian Restaurant (5795 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL 34746) adding this new Kissimmee dinner show on Saturday’s only, they will have a chance to see how it will be received. At this time, only Saturdays starting May 9 through July are being promoted. Showtime is 8:00 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:00 p.m. Like the other shows that have been performed at this Kissimmee theater, it could run successfully for awhile, then be replaced with yet another show. Only time will tell.

Last we checked, this show was no longer selling tickets. You’ll have to call to see if they plan to return or will be performing during your time in the Orlando area.

If you’d like to spend an evening in an atmosphere that will remind you of the smoky, seedy dance halls where a “dance for a dime” was prevalent, this is your chance.  Step back in time to the original Cotton Club in New York, the Copacabana in Miami, the Kit Kat Club in Berlin, the Stardust in Las Vegas, or the infamous Moulin Rouge in Paris. The Big Bang Burlesque will allow you to “visit” them all in one venue for one evening.

If you’re looking for a show for the entire family, Capone’s Dinner & Show is still the best show around! The value is hard to beat, and there isn’t a dinner show in Orlando that can beat the half-price tickets purchased online. A group of 4 can attend and still pay less than you and your date will spend at other shows. However, if you are in need of some steamy entertainment on a Saturday night, check out the Big Bang Burlesque. If you attend this new Kissimmee dinner show, we’d love for you to share your experience here on Al’s blog. Keep it clean though! Al respects the ladies and expects his boys to be gents. Enjoy the show!
