Last Week to Save Money on Attraction Tickets

We wrote this article to help save money on attraction tickets back in 2015. All prices and offers have expired. However, some of the following attractions repeat these special theme park ticket deals or similar offers every year.

Keep in mind, one of the most popular dinner attractions continues to be Capone’s Dinner & Show where you can always purchase tickets for half price when ordering online.

If you like to save money on attraction tickets, this is the last week a few of this summer’s best offers will be available. The deadline is June 14 for a Florida Resident deal at Kennedy Space Center, as well as the Ride, Slide & Dine ticket at Busch Gardens. Fun Spot’s $17 ticket goes on sale June 13. Lastly, advance purchase weekday ticket prices at SeaWorld were lowered last month, saving $5 per ticket.

Save Money on Attraction Tickets to Kennedy Space Center

Purchase a Florida Four-Pack at $139 plus tax before June 14, 2015 and visit the Complex saving $15 per person. You must be a Florida resident (ID required) and only a printed coupon is accepted. Busch Gardens &/or Adventure Island Discounted Tickets

Busch Gardens TampaAdventure IslandJune 14 is also the deadline to purchase a special $99 ticket deal to Busch Gardens. However, you have until October 11 to use them. You might not be able to wait though! The Ride, Slide & Dine ticket is good for two days at either Busch Gardens or Adventure Island (or one day at each park). The water park is open every day during the summer and goes to a weekend only schedule on September 7. With the new water slide, Colossal Curl, you’ll want to check this water park out. Fun Spot’s 17th Birthday Attraction Ticket Deal

Fun Spot AmericaYou only have two hours to purchase this attraction deal. From 10:00 a.m. to noon on June 13, 2015, tickets are only $17 in celebration of this attraction’s 17th birthday. The good news is you’ll have almost a year (until June 1, 2016) to use the ticket. For $20 you get the Fun Spot ticket and the Gator Spot ticket ($3). There is a limit of 6 tickets to each attraction. Since tickets normally cost $44.95 at the gate, this is a really good deal. SkyCoaster rides are not included. June 13 will be a crazy day at Fun Spot with auditions being held for the CBS reality show “Survivor” being held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SeaWorld Ticket Prices Go Up, Come Down

SeaWorld OrlandoCertain tickets to SeaWorld went up in price, however, advance purchase weekday tickets dropped in price. Since May 21, SeaWorld has discounted weekday tickets if bought in advance, however, the general admission ticket and Fun Card passes were raised by $2. The single day weekday ticket is now $70 (down from $75). Annual passes remain a good deal and have not seen an increase. The cost for these at both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens remain at $13 a month with no down payment or blackout dates.

Florida Residents: It’s Discount Attraction Ticket Time!

Today through December 31, 2013, Florida residents can purchase tickets to Wet ‘n’ Wild at half the cost of the regular admission price!  The only catch? Some of the tickets must be purchased online (and a few other details… keep reading).

It also includes a $5 discount, so the price is $50 plus tax. Not bad. The Day Platinum Pass is also an excellent value. You pay full price general admission ($99 plus tax) and get the rest of the year free – plus – you get to skip the regular lines! (One time per visit.) On some days, this won’t seem like that great of a value, but there will be several more weeks of warm-weather crowds, so the lines will still be longer on certain days. If you have a favorite ride, use the Express Pass on that ride and enjoy the perks. The Express Pass bargain deal must be purchased by September 2.

All of Wet ‘n’ Wild Florida Resident offers are not valid during special events, after-hour events or private parties. They all expire on December 31, 2013. The one-day half price tickets and the Day Platinum Pass are available online only. You can get the “buy a day” get the rest of the year free ticket deal at the water park.

Discounted Legoland Tickets

If you are wanting to visit one of Central Florida’s theme parks or attractions, trying to get a good deal on theme park tickets can be hard to find. Most ticket resellers offer discounted tickets, however, these tickets may end up not costing much less than purchasing the ticket directly from the theme park. If you know the date of your visit to Legoland far enough in advance, you can now get a discounted ticket directly from their website.

This new discounted ticket offer is called “Pick-A-Date” and can discount the ticket by as much as $15. The date must be at least eight days in advance. Instead of the gate price of $79 for one day’s admission, an adult will pay only $64 (ages 2-12 and 60 and older will pay $54). You may also apply this discounted attraction ticket price to two-day tickets at Legoland.

If you decide to go to Legoland within 2 to 7 days in advance, you’ll still recieve a discount of $10 off your theme park ticket. This also applies to Legoland’s water park ticket option when purchased with the regular admission ticket. It really pays to plan in advance! Literally.
