Rock Dinner Show in Orlando Set to Take Stage

As of 2022, the Rock Dinner Show in Orlando has not reopened or relocated.

The Rock Dinner Show, an all-new dining entertainment experience, is set to debut in Orlando beginning September 8, 2018. This Vegas-style show will be performed nightly at the Orlando Forum Theatre, located at 6362 International Dr., Orlando, FL 32819. This venue can accommodate up to 300 guests. Look-alike rock and pop artists will entertain guests. They will be performing acts from such icons as Prince, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake and others.

Additionally, singers, performances by actors, actresses, aerialists, and dancers will also add to the  Rock Dinner Show. Their website states, “an all-star cast of legendary performers” will perform “for an unforgettable night that will amaze the senses with energizing music that will transform you to another place and time.” And, “sensational dancing that will captivate your eyes.” While not yet open, somehow, the “electrifying visual effects… have earned The Rock Show a standing ovation each and every time.”  Perhaps by the individual performers at other shows? Just a guess…we’re not sure how they can make this claim prior to being opened.

The Menu at the Rock Dinner Show

As for the dinner portion of the evening, “award-winning cuisine by renowned executive chef Russell T. Booth” will be served. Booth’s recognition is from Hard Rock Cafe. The Rock Dinner Show menu includes the choice of 3 dishes. They are Scallopini of Chicken, Braised Short Rib or Vegan Pasta Primavera. Main entree upgrades are also available adding $9-$10 to your ticket. A dessert made of a chocolate mousse-filled cupcake, topped with a creamy and rich chocolate frosting and chocolate pearls follows the main course. In contrast, the kid’s (3-12) menu consists of Macaroni and Meatballs or a Vegetarian Macaroni, followed by dessert perfect for children: house-made fried vanilla doughnuts tossed in cinnamon and sugar, served in a paper bag.

Furthermore, brunch buffets will be offered at the Rock Dinner Show on Saturday and Sunday mornings in addition to the nightly shows. So if you want to get a taste of the food and entertainment, this is a less expensive option to check out this new Orlando dinner show.

Orlando Dinner Show Tickets

Tickets for regular adult admission are $64.95. Children tickets (ages 3-12 yrs.) are $39.95 and infants (ages 0-3 yrs.) are free. As with most local dinner shows, upgrades are available which include VIP seating, a concert pass, 1 glass of alcohol (wine, beer or champagne), a photo package and an on-stage meet & greet photo. Tickets for the brunch buffet shows are $29.95 (adult) and $19.95 (child).

In contrast, Capone’s Dinner & Show includes a large option of beverages with their tickets, including alcoholic beverages. The selection includes mixed drinks, beer, and wine. At half the cost of this new Orlando dinner show, it remains the best value!

Enjoy Getting to Know Other Guests at the Caribbean Carnaval Dinner Show!

Round tables, set for 10 guests, are elegantly set and provide a cozy atmosphere. The show itself is limited to about 150 people when food is served inside covered areas. At most about 200 guests can be accommodated including the outdoor patio area. This provides a nice atmosphere to get to know other guests.

Diners choose from a salad station, hot pots, a carving station and a min-dessert station. The menu is comprised buffet-style and includes dishes such as Ropa Vieja (shredded beef), tomato and sweet plantains, jerk chicken, grilled snapper, coconut rice, salads, sides and mini desserts. The Mojo-roasted suckling pig from the carving station draws a lot of attention. Sous Chef Carlos Castano states, “People are amazed to see the suckling pig.” There are plenty of options on the salad bar too, including grilled pineapple, organic greens, pinto bean and shrimp salad and more. Other venues on Universal Studios properties may feature a variation of one or two dishes, but most of these items can only be found at this Orlando dinner show.

Adults will enjoy the rum punch. They also provide a fruit punch which is alcohol-free. Limited beer and wine selections are also served. Kids attending the Caribbean Carnaval dinner show even get their own buffet!

Capone's Characters at Mother's Day dinner show in Orlando

The above Orlando dinner show photo features who else, but new “momma” Bunny June with Fingers and Francis Alouicous Salvatorio, Jr.; AKA “Little Pinky.” The parenthood experience was featured in the 2013 show. There were many hilarious moments in which all mothers related to during this scene. The current show (2017 anniversary show) has even more funny instances. The all-new show is faster paced and a delight for the entire family.

A Message from the Big Boss:

Al CaponeNot every working stiff is so lucky to land a job at my joint. Capone’s Dinner & Show has been honored to have some servers and office personnel employed here since the day the doors opened. See some comments on AlCapones.com concerning our good fellas. Not only is it a great testament to the type of mobsters we have, it also works as kudos to the family business itself. How many people actually want to work for the same boss for over 20 years (without being threatened by a bat or Tommy Gun)?! Of course, if you’s ain’t wit’ the company, I’ll do what I can for ya’s. I’m a generous fellow.

Good Luck Mango’s Orlando dinner show

Good luck to Mango’s Orlando as they near their grand opening this Summer. As a long-time Orlando dinner show enthusiast, success is sweet for us all. Until their doors open, be sure to save a night for Capone’s Dinner & Show. The show is appropriate for all ages, and you can’t beat the price!
