Keep in mind, one of the most popular dinner attractions continues to be Capone’s Dinner & Show where you can always purchase tickets for half price when ordering online.

The deadline is June 14 for a Florida Resident deal at Kennedy Space Center, as well as the Ride, Slide & Dine ticket at Busch Gardens. Fun Spot’s $17 ticket goes on sale June 13. Lastly, advance purchase weekday ticket prices at SeaWorld were lowered last month, saving $5 per ticket.

‘Frozen’ Summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Starting this weekend (July 5), Disney’s Hollywood Studios will begin a special event called Frozen Summer Fun Live! It will continue through September 1 and will include limited-time activities and specials centered around the movie “Frozen” and its characters. This is an Orlando theme park event you’ll not want to miss.

Frozen Summer Celebration

Sisters Anna and Elsa come to life and create an all new Arendelle fairy tale kingdom during a daily parade down Hollywood Boulevard. Riding in a horse-drawn sleigh, they are also joined by mountain man Kristoff in this royal procession. They are surrounded by skaters and ice cutters. You won’t want to miss the special moment on the Sorcerer’s Hat stage!

If you like to sing, join the sisters and the Royal Historians of Arendelle in a sing-along. This 20-minute show takes place in the Premiere Theater several times a day (12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.). If you love the soundtrack from this movie, you’ll enjoy every note.

A celebration wouldn’t be complete without fireworks. Each night the soundtrack will set the tone for spectacular “Frozen” fireworks. A lot of blue and white fireworks will be featured at this Orlando theme park. Check it out every evening at 9:45 p.m. (up until August 16), or 9:15 p.m. (August 17 through September 1).

Soundstage One is the location for a “Frozen Funland.”  Where else in Orlando can you build a snowman in Florida during the summer? Watch the ice carving exhibition while sipping on hot cocoa. This is also a perfect opportunity to have your photo taken with the film’s animated characters. There are also Orlando shopping opportunities at Oaken’s Trading Post.

Then each night, you can dance at the “Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party” where a live band will play from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. If you have any energy left by this time of the day, this special event is a great way to get it all out of your system, just in time for the fireworks show!

The best part about this theme park special event is that most of the activities are included with park admission. Ice skating, hot cocoa and a few other extras will cost you a cool buck or two. If you’re wanting to escape the Florida heat, think ‘frozen’ and head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a day.

If you are visiting the Central Florida area and are looking for something a little different to do during one evening of your vacation, check out Capone’s Dinner & Show. This is a one-of-a-kind dinner show, not found in any other place in the USA. Sit back in our air-conditioned historically decorated theater and relax after a full day at the theme parks. Let our cast of crazy characters entertain you while you dine like a ‘boss’ at our delicious dinner buffet. Save a night for Capone’s – you’ll be glad you did!

SeaWorld Vacation Packages & Summer Specials

With so much anticipation and excitement surrounding Universal Studios and the opening of Diagon Alley, it is easy to miss some great offers from other Orlando theme parks. Families are planning their summer vacations, and each attraction is vying for their attendance. Although SeaWorld isn’t planning a huge park expansion to open this summer, they are offering some good deals.

The opening of Ihu’s Breakaway Falls at Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark is still pulling in tourists and local residents. What SeaWorld has added for the summer is a great summer vacation package for families with kids. It is called “Kids Free Vacation Package” and it means just that! Each child receives free admission with each paid adult admission.

Summer Hours

Every summer, SeaWorld extends their park hours (as most Orlando theme parks do). The extra time allows for some spectacular shows through August 10, 2014. The all-new Shamu show will make its debut on June 21st. The show is called “Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up the Night” and it is sure to be spectacular. The attraction promises high energy with new, original music and production elements. Visitors will also get to watch new killer whale behaviors.

Can’t decide which vacation package is good for your family? Visit SeaWorld’s web site and read up on all of your choices. Knowing your family’s energy level, eating habits and time limits, you can choose a great summer vacation.

If you are enjoying a SeaWorld vacation this summer and have a night to spare, check out Capone’s Dinner & Show. It is a great option for an evening of “dinnertainment.” Remember, show times at Capone’s change for the summer season. Beginning June 16th, our late show will start at 8:00 p.m. instead of 7:30 p.m. There are special dates where two shows will be featured as well as matinee shows, which might alter the late show time. Be sure to check the web site for the date of your reservation. You won’t want to miss a minute of this spectacular show!

Summer Nights & Island Nights

With the sun setting later in the Summer, Capone’s Dinner & Show changes its normal late show time. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. instead of 7:30 p.m. beginning June 15. Occasionally there are 2 shows within one day or evening, so you should always check the show times page to confirm your night’s show time. Many attractions change their schedules during the summer to take advantage of the longer days and make up for the hot afternoons and summer rain showers.

Busch Gardens, SeaWorld and Adventure Island are bringing back their summer sunset celebrations called “Summer Nights” and “Island Nights.”

Island Nights at Adventure Island will take place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 14 through August 11 (5pm – 9pm). DJs lead the party with games and music on the beach while street performers keep the celebration going until 9:00 p.m. There are several culinary offerings, including island shrimp, empanadas, sangria, frozen drinks and more.

Summer Nights at Busch Gardens and SeaWorld consist of a nighttime spectacular taking place when the sun sets. Busch Gardens begins their summer schedule June 9, while SeaWorld begins theirs on June 23; both run through August 12.

At SeaWorld their Summer Nights celebration includes:

  • Shamu Rocks
Rock the night away, with Shamu. This show has more flash—and certainly more splash—than a rock concert.
  • Sea Lions Tonight
It’s comedy night at SeaWorld as their dynamic sea lion and otter duo—Clyde and Seamore—make life a little crazy for their stage manager.
  • Reflections
Gather seaside along the Waterfront Village for this spectacular celebration of animated fountains and dazzling fireworks. Or take a seat in the Bayside Stadium and enjoy the show from the comforts of their theater-style seating.

Cheetah Hunt roller coaster at Busch Gardens

At Busch Gardens their Summer Nights celebration includes:

  • Cheetah Hunt
Launch into the ultimate excitement of Cheetah Hunt, their newest roller coaster experience that coaster enthusiasts can’t stop talking about. The darkness gives the graceful predator a new twist.
  • Kinetix
Kinetix’s energizing performances include live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world every night on the Gwazi Park stage.
  • “Let’s Get Loud”
On the Stage in the Marrakesh Theater, singers, dancers and musicians heat up Summer Nights with popular contemporary music and dance, incorporating the Latin flair of Miami’s South Beach.
  • End your Summer Nights evening with an amazing fireworks finale every night, right after Kinetix.

No matter which Florida theme park you visit this Summer, we hope you will save a night for Capone’s Dinner & Show. Our live stage one-of-a-kind prohibition speakeasy and cabaret is a blast from the past that everyone in your party will enjoy.
