Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival

If you’ve been a guest at Al Capone’s show and have enjoyed the food, wine and music, you might consider a trip to Tampa for the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival. Weekends starting early in March through late in April, this festival offers perfect pairings when it comes to food, wine, music and attractions. Best part – you don’t have to purchase an additional theme park ticket to enjoy it, but you will probably want to. Various food and drink packages are available, as well as a VIP ticket.

Coconut Shrimp

Tempt your taste buds with the rich flavors of the Savory Tavern including coconut shrimp cigars.

The Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival is a way for this Florida theme park to showcase some of their wonderful restaurants. Special appetizer-sized portions are offered at different tasting cabins/tents. If you think you’ll only want to sample one dish, then bring some extra cash. Tastings can range from $5 to $8 for food; $8 to $10 for alcoholic beverages. See their menu on their website.

VIP Attraction Tickets

Different ticket packages are offered. If you only want to sample drinks, purchase the Wine & Brew Sampler ticket starting at $34.99. Want to eat and drink both the fine wines & brews? The Food, Wine & Brew Sampler is for you. Enjoy 5 samples of beer or wine and any 5 samples of food. This special ticket starts at $42.99. If you want VIP treatment and/or priority seating at the concert, check out the VIP attraction tickets being offered. They range from $49.99 to $59.99 and up. Well worth the cost if you plan to attend the Tampa theme park primarily because of the Food & Wine Festival. Food and beverage locations open at noon and close at 9:00 p.m.

Free Concerts

With various musical acts covering pop, soft rock, latin, country, contemporary and classic music genres, most everyone will find a Saturday or Sunday that they’d enjoy for the concert alone. The concerts are held on Gwazi Field.

Headlining concerts begin at 6:00 p.m., however additional acts (some are local favorites) perform at 1:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. providing all-day entertainment. Concerts are also included with admission to the park. Nothing like a free concert!

With more than 65 fine wines, 50 craft brews and featured cocktails to choose from throughout Busch Gardens during this special event, the pairings are endless. It is a little bit of a drive from our Orlando dinner show, however, St. Pete isn’t much farther. It is one of the wise guy’s favorite beaches in Florida. Instead of a one-day trip, consider making it an over-nighter. One day for the theme park; one day for the beautiful beach.

Be sure to bring your gang to our dinner show, then head over to Tampa and enjoy the Food & Wine Festival. Life is good when you have great food, good music, fine wine and a “family” like you have with the guys and gals at Capone’s Dinner & Show. Enjoy!

Orlando Dinner Shows & Their VIP Treatment

Most Orlando dinner shows offer some type of VIP upgrade with their ticket options. This VIP treatment could turn an ordinary visit to a show into an extraordinary evening. For some guests who are looking to make an extra special night out, it is a no-brainer. They will pay the price for extras and the best dinner show ticket options. For others that just want to have a nice night out, and stay within a budget, the VIP ticket upgrade is usually not of interest. Bargain tickets are perfect for them.

At Capone’s Dinner & Show, everyone is treated like a VIP. However, if you’d like to have preferred seating, bump your ticket up by $11 (when you purchase online) and get center section seating or choice private tables. You can also get early admission into Al’s Four Deuces Lounge with casino chips for table games and a take-home souvenir glass. These discount tickets are regularly $63.99 for adults and $39.99 for children (4-12), however, you can purchase online for half price. For less than $10 you can also add a prohibition era costume accessory, such as a boa or fedora to your outfit for the evening and dress in style. It’s hard to beat this great Orlando attraction deal.

At the Arabian Nights Orlando dinner show, the VIP experience expands on the General Admission ticket to include seating in the front three rows of the arena, and allows access to the stable tour during the pre-show. If a day at Disney is on your vacation list, and you’d like to catch an Orlando dinner show, you can stay within the property and head over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and catch the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Theme Parks & VIP Tickets – worth it?

Capone’s Dinner & Show is working on implementing VIP tickets with special perks. A little over a year ago, the option to add dress-the-part costumes to your online ticket order was implemented and has been very popular. Who doesn’t like a boa or a fedora to wear when attending a speakeasy? Yet Capone’s is very aware that most people are on a tight budget, and want to make their Orlando dinner show experience an affordable one for everyone. Other local attractions offer expensive options…

Most Orlando theme parks offer upgrades and special services of some type. Depending upon the park and what you get for the extra money you spend, it may well be worth it. However, are you willing to pay nearly $500 for a VIP tour? Some might if it meant seeing one of the top attractions in Orlando behind the scenes, no waiting in lines, and a host of other special perks. But…. Would you pay this amount to go to Legoland?

Legoland Florida VIP Tour

Orlando attractions appeal to families of all economic classes, including the wealthy, and this is what Legoland is counting on. It is a bit of a drive out to this theme park located in Winter Haven, and it caters mostly to families with children age 2 – 12, yet the “Legoland Florida VIP Experience” could very well boost visitor spending for this Merlin Entertainments Group. At least the theme park will be getting more money out of their wealthiest guests.

The cost of the “Legoland Florida VIP Experience” will start at $495 per adult and $445 per child (ages 3-12). It will include your family’s very own private host, tours of a “secret” model shop, a session with one of the park’s master model builders, lunch, front-of-the-line ride access and other perks and gifts. If you want a private cabana, beach towels and a locker at the water park area of the attraction, you’ll pay an additional $100. Mind you, this is for a single day ticket!

Obviously, this VIP package is not for families looking for discount Orlando theme park tickets. This caters specifically to families that have no problem spending well over $1,000 to go to an Orlando attraction. Some families are willing to pay even more, especially during special events. For example, during Red, Brick & Boom (July 4th), Christmas Bricktacular and the Kids New Year’s Eve celebration other perks can be purchased with the VIP tour. Extras will include a VIP picnic and a designated viewing area for fireworks.

While many families are hard pressed to purchase a single day pass at any Orlando attraction, there have been, and always will be, families that can afford to spend a great deal of money while on vacation. It is good for our local economy and good for the area theme parks. Hopefully it is equally good for the VIPs, and they find the extra expense well worth it.

If you happen to be one of these VIP-types and want to make a reservation, or want more information on Legoland’s VIP experience, call 855-753-7777. Details can also be found on their website.
