Downtown Disney is not just for tourists; many locals enjoy shopping and getting out to this area mix of stores and restaurants. With numerous shows, shops and restaurants, it is a great place for a day or evening out. It is not uncommon for visitors to wrap up their day at a theme park and linger in one of Downtown Disney’s 3 sections \u2013 West Side, Marketplace & Pleasure Island.<\/del><\/p>\n

Downtown Disney West Side<\/strong><\/del>
\nDowntown Disney West Side showcases top-notch restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck Caf\u00e9, House of Blues Restaurant, <\/strong>and Bongos Cuban Caf\u00e9<\/strong>, which was created by Gloria Estefan herself.\u00a0 Entertainment options include a 24-screen AMC Pleasure Island movie theater<\/strong>, which features the latest movies with comfortable stadium seating, and state-of-the-art theaters.\u00a0 \u00a0The live music club House of Blues<\/strong> is located here as well.\u00a0 You won\u2019t want to miss the one-of-a-kind gaming experience at DisneyQuest<\/a><\/strong>, the 5-story Indoor Interactive theme park. \u00a0A must-see<\/strong> attraction here is the Cirque du Soleil- La Nouba<\/a><\/strong> live entertainment show.\u00a0 La Nouba translates to mean \u2018to party, to live it up\u2019 and this show certainly lives up to its name. This futuristic circus spectacle features stunning aero-gymnastic performances<\/strong>, high wire and flying trapeze acts<\/strong>, along with dazzling sets, lighting, music, and brilliant choreography.<\/del><\/p>\n

Downtown Disney Marketplace<\/strong><\/del>
\nDowntown Disney Marketplace provides an appealing place to take a break from Disney Theme Parks and Water Parks\u2014especially if you\u2019re in search of Disney merchandise. \u00a0There are many places to shop here, but a couple of the highlights are Disney\u2019s Design-A-Tee shop<\/a><\/strong>, where you can create your very own souvenir shirt – YOUR favorite color, character art YOU pick out, and you can even add a text, pre-written or something in YOUR own words. \u00a0The marketplace also includes the 50,000 square foot World of Disney Store<\/a><\/strong>, the biggest Disney character store on Earth!\u00a0 12 rooms contain everything you need, from collectibles and trading pins to watches, apparel, and baby needs.\u00a0 And, inside the World of Disney Store, you will find the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique<\/a><\/strong> where girls can get a \u2018princess\u2019 make-over and boys can get the \u2018Cool Dudes Package\u2019 make-over (children must be 3 or older).\u00a0 And, when you need a break from shopping, relax at one of the lakeside restaurants like Portobello<\/strong> or Fulton\u2019s Crab House<\/strong>.<\/del><\/p>\n

Pleasure Island<\/strong><\/del>
