There are so many dining options to choose from within the Walt Disney World Resort Complex<\/strong><\/a>!\u00a0\u00a0 They have everything from casual to fine dining, from ice cream shops and hot dog stands, to fine restaurants serving steak and seafood.\u00a0 Many of these great restaurants are contained inside the theme parks, however, there are also many fabulous dining options outside the theme parks, at the area resorts\/hotels<\/strong>, Disney\u00a0Springs<\/strong><\/a>, and Disney\u2019s Boardwalk<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 \u00a0You will find many types of cuisine available, and are sure to find something great to fill your appetite.\u00a0 There are also several dining experiences to choose from; casual dining, quick service dining, fine dining, as well as dinner shows and character dining, which is great fun for the kids.<\/p>\n

Theme Park Restaurants<\/h3>\n

As an overview, some of the restaurants inside the Magic Kingdom<\/strong><\/a> include Cinderella\u2019s Royal Table<\/a>, El Pirata yel Perico Restaurant, and the Pinocchio Village Haus, as well as Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and Main Street Bakery. Animal Kingdom<\/a> boasts some great restaurants as well, including Yak & Yeti<\/a> Asian restaurant, Tusker House Restaurant<\/a>, and the \u2018wildly\u2019 popular, jungle-themed Rainforest Caf\u00e9<\/a>.\u00a0 (Check out our Spotlight article<\/a> on the Rainforest Cafe.)\u00a0 \u00a0Some of the great restaurants inside Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios<\/a> include The Hollywood Brown Derby<\/a>, Mama Melrose\u2019s Ristorante Italiano<\/a>, and the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater<\/a>, which is modeled after 1950s-era drive-ins.\u00a0 The Sci-Fi shows sci-fi movies while you dine in convertible car-styled tables. Epcot<\/a> has many restaurants also, and since they also have the World Showcase area, which is a collection of pavilions that showcase 11 different countries, the restaurants are representative of these countries as well.\u00a0 So, you can \u2018eat your way around the world\u2019 and try several different cuisines.\u00a0 Try the Biergarten Restaurant<\/a> for German fare, Bistro de Paris<\/a> for French cuisine, Nine Dragons Restaurant<\/a> for Chinese, Restaurant Marrakesh<\/a> for Mediterranean, and many more!<\/p>\n

Character Dining Restaurants<\/h3>\n

You can find Character dining options<\/strong><\/a> at several locations throughout the parks and the resorts.\u00a0 Some of the restaurants offering character dining are Cape May Caf\u00e9<\/a>, 1900 Park Fare<\/a>, Chef Mickey\u2019s<\/a>, and The Crystal Palace<\/a>. \u00a0\u00a0Disney also offers a few dinner shows<\/a>.\u00a0 These include Disney\u2019s Spirit of Aloha Show<\/a> at Disney\u2019s Polynesian Resort, Mickey\u2019s Backyard BBQ<\/a> at Fort Wilderness Resort, and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue<\/a>, also at Fort Wilderness Resort.<\/p>\n

Resort Restaurants<\/h3>\n

All of the local Disney resort hotels<\/strong> offer dining options.\u00a0 Some of these fabulous options include The Wave\u2026of American Flavors<\/a> and California Grill<\/a>, both located at Disney\u2019s Contemporary Resort. The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort is home to Cabana Bar & Beach Club, the award-winning Todd English\u2019s bluezoo<\/a>, and Shula\u2019s Steak House<\/a>.\u00a0 Shula\u2019s Steak House is the restaurant of the famed football coach, and is decorated with photos and memorabilia from Shula\u2019s 1972 undefeated Miami Dolphins team.<\/p>\n

Disney Springs Restaurants<\/h3>\n

Disney Springs\u00a0West Side<\/strong> showcases top-notch restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck Caf\u00e9<\/a>, House of Blues Restaurant<\/a>, and Bongos Cuban Caf\u00e9<\/a>, which was created by Gloria Estefan herself.\u00a0 The West Side also features the new Paradiso 37, Taste of the Americas<\/a>, which features nightly entertainment and an extensive tequila bar, as well as the famous Planet Hollywood<\/a>\u00a0(see our spotlight article<\/a> for more info). \u00a0Disney Springs Marketplace & The Landing<\/strong> feature several excellent dining options also, including Morimoto Asia<\/a>, waterfront Italian dining at Portobello<\/a>, Rainforest Caf\u00e9<\/a>, Fulton\u2019s Crab House<\/a>, and the dinosaur-themed T-Rex, a Prehistoric Family Adventure<\/a>.
