Which is the <strong>best Orlando water park?<\/strong> <em>We&#8217;ll let you be the judge!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Water Parks Overview<\/h2>\n<p>The International drive area had Wet &#8216;n&#8217; Wild, the oldest water park in Orlando, however, it\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wet-n-wild-water-park-will-close-7331\">closed at the end of 2016<\/a>. Near to where it was located,\u00a0the all-new Universal Studios <strong>Volcano Bay<\/strong> water park has erupted. It has taken many of the popular features of tried and true water parks and is incorporating them, adding more and more features at the time of this page update.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Aquatica<\/strong> and <strong>Discovery Cove<\/strong> also in the International Drive resort area offer a milder choice, but more relaxing and water rides you won\u2019t see anywhere else. Aquatica is a great park and Sea World\u2019s unique ability to combine sea creatures on rides is astonishing. Now the interaction at Aquatica does not even come close to Discovery Cove \u2013 an attraction that\u2019s not all about rides. The <strong>dolphin experience<\/strong> is truly the best thing I have ever done at a theme\/water park. They have two options; one with the Dolphin encounter and the other without. It\u2019s the most expensive and exclusive of all the parks in Orlando. Capacity is an issue, so book this experience as far in advance as possible.<\/p>\n<p>The Walt Disney World Resort has two water parks <strong>Blizzard Beach<\/strong> and <strong>Typhoon Lagoon<\/strong>.
