For the tenth year in a row, the town of Celebration, Florida<\/strong> will become the Pie Capital of the World <\/strong>this weekend, April 9th and 10th when thousands of pie lovers, tasters and bakers gather together for the Great American Pie Festival<\/strong>. Sponsored by Crisco\u00ae<\/sup>, the highlight, as always, will be the Never-Ending Pie Buffet<\/strong>, featuring award-winning pie, ice cream, toppings and beverages. Yummy!<\/em><\/p>\n

Children can make their own pies and can join in the pie decorating, pie scaping, pie tin art<\/strong> and many other pie activities<\/strong>. Adults will enjoy the featured entertainment<\/strong> and baking demonstrations <\/strong>by chefs from across the country. Of course, no pie festival would be complete without a Pie Eating Contest<\/strong>. So join in! Have some delicious pie!<\/em><\/p>\n

If you are a pie lover, you\u2019ll be treated to sweet offerings by Bakers Square Restaurants and Pies, Bonert\u2019s Slice of Pie, California Raisin Marketing Board, J. Horner\u2019s Desserts, Kroger\u2019s Private Selection, Publix Super Markets, Inc., Rocky Mountain Pies, Smucker\u2019s Toppings, The Folger Coffee Company, Village Inn <\/strong>and Wick\u2019s Pies.<\/strong> Many vendors will be on-site too offering their products, recipes and more. Admission is free<\/strong>, although there will be a cost to enjoy the pie buffet.<\/p>\n

Lakeside Park in Celebration, Florida is just down the road from Capone\u2019s Dinner and Show<\/strong><\/a>. So once you fill up on your pie, come on down and see our show<\/strong>. Mama Capone will make an exception for you, having your dessert BEFORE she serves up supper! Be sure to check out our new menu<\/strong><\/a>. Although we don\u2019t serve pie, we do offer up a great selection of hot Italian\/American favorites!<\/strong> If you haven\u2019t had your fill of sweets from the Pie Festival, we\u2019ll serve up a surgery sweet surprise of our own at the end of dinner service. Too much sugar? I don\u2019t think so!!!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
