Maybe you\u2019re wanting to find something entertaining as well as educational. Look no further than the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.osc.org\" target=\"_blank\">Orlando Science Center.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With so much to do and see, it is no wonder why the Orlando Science Center is the perfect <strong>summer attraction to visit<\/strong>. There are four floors of exciting <strong>exhibits<\/strong>, amazing giant screen <strong>movies<\/strong> and engaging <strong>live programming<\/strong>. From <strong>summer camps for kids <\/strong>to <strong>cocktails and cosmos for adults<\/strong>, this Orlando attraction has<em><strong> something for everyone.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On level two, the touring exhibit <em>\u201cGuitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World\u201d<\/em> will be on display until September 11. This 5,000 square foot exhibit explores the history and evolution of the guitar-from lutes and lyres to modern high-tech instruments. It also shows how the instrument became the cultural symbol it is today.\u00a0 The permanent display <em>&#8220;Our Planet, Our Universe&#8221;<\/em> is also a facinating look at space as well as elements found right here on Earth.<\/p>\n<p>On the giant screen at the Orlando Science Center everyone will enjoy <em>\u201cAnimalopolis\u201d<\/em> a film that will take you on a voyage into the magical world of animals. Also showing is <em>\u201cThe Ultimate Wave Tahiti\u201d<\/em> and <em>\u201cWild Champanzees\u201d<\/em> &#8211; two extraordinary films. Take in one film upon your arrival and you should be able to view another later in the day. There is certainly plenty to do in between!<\/p>\n<p>Activities and exhibits at the Orlando Science Center can certainly fill an entire day, and now on <strong>Saturdays<\/strong>, you can stay on through the evening for their <strong>laser light show<\/strong>. Playing from 7pm to 10 pm every Saturday starting July 1 and continuing through August 19, this rock n\u2019 roll experience has been brought back by popular demand. This year\u2019s schedule is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> 6:00 p.m. \u2013 Legends of the Night Sky: Orion* \u2013 PG<\/li>\n<li> 7:00 p.m. \u2013 Laser Beatles \u2013 PG<\/li>\n<li> 8:00 p.m. \u2013 Laser Vinyl \u2013 PG-13<\/li>\n<li> 9:00 p.m. \u2013 Laser Zeppelin \u2013 PG-13<\/li>\n<li> 10:00 p.m. \u2013 Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon \u2013 PG-13<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that content during the Laser Light Show may not be suitable for children ages 11 and younger. Parental discretion is advised. Please be aware that these shows are very loud. Ear plugs are available from the show attendants. There is also a family-friendly planetarium-based show at 6:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>So get out of the heat and enjoy one of Orlando\u2019s lesser know gems. The Orlando Science Center is fun, educational and a sure bet.
