Let the holidays begin! Last\u00a0week marked the beginning of Walt Disney World\u2019s holiday events schedule.<\/strong> The Orlando theme park<\/strong> is decorated down to the smallest of detail and the festivities are already in motion. Mickey\u2019s Very Merry Christmas Party<\/strong><\/a> began November 7th and continues \u00a0on select nights through December 22. Select from\u00a0several\u00a0special nights in which an additional park ticket offers delightful joys of the season. Families can sip cocoa, catch a \u201csnowflake,\u201d enjoy a holiday parade, fireworks and live entertainment. Tickets purchased online for this special event start at\u00a0$91.00 for adults and $86.00 for ages 3 to 9. If you want to visit the theme parks during the day, you\u2019ll need an additional ticket.<\/p>\n

This after-hours party offers meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the park with favorite Disney characters. Enjoy complimentary cookies, festive treats\u00a0and hot cocoa. An exclusive holiday fireworks show and Mickey\u2019s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade<\/strong>, with a special appearance by Santa Claus takes place. Mickey\u2019s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on\u00a0Nov. 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27, 29, Dec. 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 and 22, 2016, from 7 p.m. until midnight.<\/p>\n

This year returning guests to Hollywood Studios will miss the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. However, if you love \u201cFrozen,\u201d you\u2019ll be delighted to participate in the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. It is hilarious, yet heartwarming retelling of Anna an Elsa\u2019s amazing Frozen adventure. Your standard admission to Disney\u2019s Hollywood Studios theme park includes this show.<\/p>\n

Epcot’s Candlelight Processional (\u00a9Walt Disney World)<\/p><\/div>\n

Also\u00a0in November, the Holidays Around the World Candlelight Processional<\/strong><\/a> begins November 25 – December 30 in Epcot. The event retells the story of Christmas with a celebrity narrator, 50-piece orchestra and a mass choir. This unforgettable spectacle is held 3 times a day (evening)\u00a0during the holiday season at 5pm, 6:45pm & 8:15pm.
