In <strong>Plant City<\/strong>, famous for its strawberries, is a newly expanded <strong>Central Florida theme park<\/strong> many don\u2019t know about. <strong>Dinosaur World<\/strong> has recently <strong>doubled in size<\/strong>, so it will be difficult to miss. If you\u2019re interested in dinosaurs (what person isn\u2019t?), you\u2019ll be glad to spend a half day checking out this <strong>fun attraction in Central Florida.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new expansion at <strong>Dinosaur World<\/strong> includes 12 acres filled with <em>everything<\/em> dinosaur. Moving animatronic dinosaurs, including Brachiosaurus, Triceratops, Pterodactyl, Stegosaurus and of course T-Rex will fascinate the entire family. The new 22,000 square foot addition is home to the <strong>Prehistoric Museum<\/strong> where you can see row after row of authentic fossils. Learn about everything from real dinosaur eggs to raptor claws and even mammoth teeth.<\/p>\n<p>Two new <strong>playgrounds<\/strong> are available with one designed especially for those under 7 and one for older kids. Another child favorite is the <strong>Fossil Dig.<\/strong> The new dig site is filled with fossils. If you don\u2019t find one, not to worry, you can purchase a piece of history in the <strong>gift shop<\/strong>. It now contains over 5,000 square feet of dinosaur fun. The shop includes an <strong>educational section<\/strong> which parents and teachers will find very useful. Speaking of teachers, the entire month of <strong>March is Teacher Month.<\/strong> All teachers with school ID will be admitted free!<\/p>\n<p>Prices for <strong>Dinosaur World<\/strong> are $16.95 plus tax for adults; $11.95 plus tax for children ages 3 to 12 and $14.95 plus tax for seniors over 60.
