With hundreds of courses to choose from and great golfing weather for the most part of the year, golfing in Florida will always be a wonderful experience! The biggest challenge for you and you group is to decide which courses to play. To help you make the planning of your golf trip a little easier, I will tell you more about two great golf clubs in Florida definitely worth a visit (if you want to see a full list of courses in the area, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.golfnow.com\/course-directory\/florida-golf-courses\" target=\"_blank\">www.golfnow.com\/course-directory\/florida-golf-courses<\/a> is a great place to start).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Southern Dunes, Haines City<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Par 72 | 7,219 yards |<\/p>\n<p>Southern Dunes is a fantastic golf course in immaculate condition. The course has a very unique typography with a dramatic hillside layout and also features a 100 feet elevation change. Grass-covered dunes, huge bunkers and large undulating greens will ensure a very interesting and challenging round of golf. Five sets of tees do however make this course playable for golfers of any skill-level.<\/p>\n<p>The golf course displays a wonderful combination of par-3 holes with beautiful downhill views, long and challenging par-4\u2019s and par-5 holes with wide open fairways. Course management is a must at Southern Dunes and beware of lighting fast greens!<\/p>\n<p>The clubhouse is excellent; the food is great and the practice facilities of a very high standard. Pine Barrens Course:<\/strong> | Par 71 | 6,458 yards |<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pine Barrens gets its name from the many pine trees that line its length. The course, which was ranked number 26 by Golf Digest on their list of top 100 courses in America, offers a visually stunning layout amongst an expansive pine forest. Dramatic changes in elevation, large manicured fairways and untamed waste bunkering create a unique golf experience \u2013 many have compared this course with the splendid Pine Valley course in New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p>This majestic design will provide a wonderfully rare golfing experience. You will really enjoy its fourth and fifteenth holes as they have been labelled as two of the best strategic holes built in the last 60 years. Pine Barrens is a truly beautiful course and a clever design \u2013 most definitely worth the trip!<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Rolling Oaks Course:<\/strong> | Par 72 | 6,520 yards |<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\nRolling Oaks is another world-class golf course. The design is however very different from Pine Barrens. This course displays beautiful rolling fairways leading to tricky, undulating greens. Large Oak trees, sharply defined white bunkers, rich green fairways and Azalea bushes provide a wonderful setting \u2013 you could easily imagine you were playing a round at Augusta National!<\/p>\n<p>The eighth hole at Rolling Oaks is one of the most beautiful holes in all of Florida, with its green nestled as close to a pond as can be. The stunning views and challenging tee shot will definitely push your heart rate up!<\/p>\n<p>World Woods Golf Club is Florida&#8217;s only 5 star public golf course. Both Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks will provide a very enjoyable round of golf at a reasonable price.
