At <a href=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\"><strong>Capone\u2019s Dinner &amp; Show<\/strong><\/a>, the show continues every night inside our dry comfortable theater. Parking outside is plentiful. You won\u2019t have to walk a half mile in the rain to get under cover. So while several <strong>Orlando attractions<\/strong> are shutting down certain rides and park features due to the tropical storm, we\u2019ve got some suggestions that will keep your family dry and entertained on wet days such as this.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m always up for a movie on days like today. Sure you can go to a movie theater for a couple hours and see a featured film, but wouldn\u2019t you like something to keep everyone stimulated for the entire day? My top two choices for <strong>rainy day activities in Central Florida<\/strong> are the <strong>Orlando Science Center<\/strong> and the <strong>Kennedy Space Center.<\/strong> Both offer short movies for your entertainment, both have plenty to do and see for all ages and both venues have plenty to keep you entertained indoors, out of the elements. They also stimulate your learning which is great for kids on summer break.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Orlando Science Center<\/strong> is wrapping up a month of Disaster. Experts in many different areas of safety are making appearances to help you prevent emergencies and how to handle situations that do arise when it comes to natural disasters. On select dates and times, Dr. Dare\u2019s Laboratory will have presentations about hurricanes and tornadoes and you can check out a brand new program Hurricane! Movies showing at OSC are also themed around the skies; you can see \u201cRescue,\u201d \u201cTornado\u201d and \u201cLegends of the Night Sky\u201d as well as a showing not related to the sky of \u201cCoral Reef Adventure.\u201d The touring exhibits of \u201cPlay\u201d and \u201cStar Wars\u201d continue which provide fun for children, as well as a host of other exhibits. The Orlando Science Center is a great place to spend a day, especially a rainy one. Most tickets are under $20 too. Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osc.org\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.osc.org<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>At the <strong>Kennedy Space Center<\/strong> this week, you may just get to watch a Delta IV rocket launch. As of now, it is still scheduled for Thursday, however, this is such a great <strong>Central Florida theme park<\/strong> to visit on a rainy day, I would recommend going whether a launch is scheduled or not. They too offer a movie &#8211; a 3D IMAX space film, as well as other exhibits everyone in your group will enjoy. Admission includes the Shuttle Launch Experience, Astronaut Encounter, Exploration Space, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame and more. Admission is $45 + tax for adults and $35 + tax for children ages 3-11. They have specials for multiple days, so check their website for these specials. Parking, wheelchairs, strollers and pet kennels are free of charge. Go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.KennedySpaceCenter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.KennedySpaceCenter.com<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>After your rainy day adventure to either of these attractions, make your way over to <a href=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\"><strong>Capone\u2019s Dinner &amp; Show<\/strong><\/a> for a delicious dinner buffet and a great show. The wise guys and beautiful dames at our joint are sure to keep your mind off of anything weather-related.
