This makes it difficult to enjoy a theater production or movie. Capone\u2019s Dinner &amp; Show is working on changing that and would like to extend an invitation to all hearing impaired individuals to enjoy their show on <strong>August 3 at half price!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/deafsymbol.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-4746\" title=\"deafsymbol\" src=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/deafsymbol-292x300.jpg\" alt=\"Deaf Symbol\" width=\"217\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/deafsymbol-292x300.jpg 292w, https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/deafsymbol.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 217px) 100vw, 217px\" \/><\/a>Accommodations are made for other <strong>special needs<\/strong> on a daily bases, such as wheelchair access and dietary restrictions, however, this is the first occasion that <strong>Capone\u2019s Dinner &amp; Show will feature interpreters for the deaf.<\/strong> <em>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to make this accommodation and hope the area\u2019s deaf community will take advantage of this special production,\u201d<\/em> stated John Kucik, owner of Capone\u2019s.<em> \u201cWe\u2019re planning to include an interpreter for future shows, so we\u2019re anxious to see the response. We want to make it possible for everyone to enjoy our show to the fullest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The recent announcement of Regal Entertainment Group showing \u201copen caption\u201d movies as well as providing special devices that display the captions in some of their theaters, proves the movie market is working toward accommodating the hearing impaired. Other theater and entertainment venues will more than likely follow their example. While hiring an interpreter <em>every<\/em> evening at Capone\u2019s Dinner &amp; Show is not planned at this time, <strong>scheduling certain nights throughout the year is definitely in the works<\/strong>. Spreading the news to the deaf community to gain support for these special dates is a real need.
