In an effort to make sure our posts are kept up-to-date, you’ll be happy to know that Falcon’s Fury successfully opened later in the summer of 2014. It is a very thrilling ride and will continue to draw large crowds wanting to experience this face-down mind-dropping experience.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Falcon's<\/a><\/p>\n

Theme park goers are experiencing a lot of anticipation lately. When will Falcon\u2019s Fury<\/a><\/strong>, North America\u2019s tallest freestanding drop tower, be ready for guests?<\/strong> I say, let Busch Gardens take their time and get it right! You will, after all, be diving face down from a 335-foot tall structure at a speed of 60 m.p.h. with a 3.5 G force! Thrills are only fun if you know you are safe.<\/em><\/p>\n

The announcement was made yesterday by the folks at Busch Gardens<\/strong> that we\u2019ll have to wait until later this summer before it opens. Here is their full post:<\/p>\n

Busch Gardens\u2019 new thrill ride Falcon\u2019s Fury includes first-of-its kind design elements, systems and parts. Due to a delay in the fabrication of key component parts, neither the manufacturer nor Busch Gardens are able to complete the lengthy testing processes needed to open the ride to the public. The safety of our guests and team members remains Busch Gardens\u2019 top priority and none of these delays involve safety systems. The ride has been safely operated in the initial stages of the testing process, and all other elements of the park\u2019s newest re-imagined land Pantopia are now open to guests. Busch Gardens will provide updates on the ride opening as events warrant. We are committed to delivering world-class thrills and the best possible ride experience, and we look forward to the launch of Falcon\u2019s Fury, North America\u2019s tallest freestanding drop tower, later this summer.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

New Land at Busch Gardens Opens – Pantopia<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile the new land in which Falcon\u2019s Fury is the centerpiece, Pantopia<\/strong><\/a>, is open. So far guests seem to be giving it good reviews. Without the main attraction, park guests are focused on the other fun things to do here<\/strong> \u2013 eat and shop!<\/em><\/p>\n

Here is a run down on some of the new places to eat<\/strong> at this theme park. There is a little something for everyone. Mixed reviews are coming in concerning the food, however, I\u2019m sure as time goes by, each culunary delight will be perfected (or dropped from the menu with fury).<\/p>\n

\"TwistedTwisted Tails Pretzels<\/h3>\n

Like pretzels? Then you\u2019ll love the Twisted Tails Pretzels shop. Think of your favorite food, and you\u2019ll probably be able to find it at this restaurant twisted up into a pretzel (like two entwined lemurs tails). Sweet pretzels, salty pretzel dogs, bacon pretzel sandwiches and more. This theme park restaurant also serves an assortment of craft beers.<\/p>\n

Kettle Corn<\/h3>\n

I love the smell of Kettle corn and now the land of Pantopia is filled with this delicious aroma all day. At the Kettle Corn food stop kettle corn and other flavored popcorn is served along with other foods. Try a turkey leg, chicken strips or a potato twister. If the meal doesn\u2019t mesmerize you, the decor just might. The structure is decorated with mosaic plates, bowls and topped with an assortment of sticks and shiny mirrors, silverware and coins.<\/p>\n

Lynx Frozen Treats<\/h3>\n

The legend at this restaurant in Pantopia comes from an explorer named Frosty Krystallos. Seems he crashed his plane into an old shed and decided to rebuild the shed as Lynx Frozen Treats. Now he makes delicious snow cones, smoothies and other sweet and salty treats for guests that come his way. This will be a popular stop during the hot summer months!<\/p>\n

Pantopia Grill<\/h3>\n

This is one of the larger theme park restaurants in the new attraction. Here guests can sample Mama Marac\u2019s most popular recipes, including baby back ribs, chicken fettuccini Alfredo, specialty salads, hot and hearty sandwiches, delectable desserts and a complete kid\u2019s menu.<\/p>\n

Dragon Fire<\/h3>\n

Just outside Pantopia Grill, is another dining option called Dragon Fire. Dishes here are said to have been inspired by the legends of the Komodo dragon. If you have an appetite like that, then you\u2019ll enjoy dining on ribs, sausages and kabobs.<\/p>\n

Painted Camel Bazaar<\/h3>\n

If Florida shopping is your thing, you\u2019ll find a lot of cool things at the Painted Camel Bazaar. It has the souveniers you\u2019d expect, and a lot more.
