Maybe you\u2019ve got friends or family back home that you want to purchase a gift for. Souvenirs are great, and Capone\u2019s Dinner &amp; Show has an entire gift shop full of great cheap souvenirs. Some are also very unusual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">It\u2019s not often that a theme park or restaurant offers a souvenir that people just <strong>can\u2019t wait to get their hands on<\/strong>, but that is exactly what has happened this week. The famous <strong>mugs<\/strong> of <strong>Trader Sam\u2019s<\/strong> are now available at Disney\u2019s Polynesian Resort Village. This popular drink establishment has been open unofficially (soft opening) since late in March, but the souvenir mugs were nowhere to be found. The Grog Grotto is now officially open and the mugs, cups and shot glasses have magically arrived. <em>These make great souvenirs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-7209\" src=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/trader-sams-shrunken-head-mug.jpg\" alt=\"shrunken head mug\" width=\"310\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/trader-sams-shrunken-head-mug.jpg 310w, https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/trader-sams-shrunken-head-mug-100x150.jpg 100w, https:\/\/alcapones.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/trader-sams-shrunken-head-mug-267x400.jpg 267w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 310px) 100vw, 310px\" \/>Founded by a\u00a0famous \u201chead\u201d salesman, <strong>Trader Sam\u2019s Grog Grotto<\/strong> welcomes guests to explore a menu of \u201cmagical tropical drinks and food.\u201d After all, Sam\u2019s expertise in concocting head-shrinking potions has proven he also has a head for mixology. With his travels being quite extensive, there is a wide variety of drinks to choose from. Available in <strong>collectible Tiki mugs,<\/strong> some of these concoctions trigger a special effect when ordered <strong>inside the bar<\/strong>. Order a \u201cUh-Oa!\u201d and the goddess of disaster may strike. Order a Shrunken Zombie Head, and well&#8230;hold on! Other Trader Sam cocktails include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">Polynesian Pearl<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Nautilus<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Castaway Crush<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Tahitian Torch<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Dark &amp; Tropical Stormy<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Krakatoa Punch (Enchanted Tiki Bar)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Uh-Oa! (Enchanted Tiki Bar)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">HippopotoMai-Tai (Enchanted Tiki Bar)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Shrunken Zombie Head (Enchanted Tiki Bar)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Schweitzer Fall (No-Booze Brews)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Skipper Sipper (No-Booze Brews)<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Polynesian Punch (No-Booze Brews)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Trader Sam\u2019s menu is made up of <strong>small bites<\/strong>, which can easily be considered a meal. Well, <em>not<\/em> according to Mama Capone who wouldn\u2019t dare let her guests have only a <em>small<\/em> order of anything! Her delicious <a href=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/menu.php\">dinner menu<\/a> is hard to beat, but for a small bar (the Grog Grotto only seats 50 inside and 82 on the patio), the menu selection is a nice variety including kalua pork tacos, pan-fried dumplings, roasted chicken and pork p\u00e2t\u00e9 b\u00e1nh m\u00ec sliders, salmon oshizushi, corn-battered Portuguese sausages and a Headhunter Sushi Roll.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">If you enjoy this enchanted South Seas hideaway, you need to also check out Al\u2019s hideaway bar called <a href=\"https:\/\/alcapones.com\/four-deuces-lounge.php\">The Four Deuces<\/a>. This pre-show lounge at Capone\u2019s dinner show offers <strong>Al\u2019s Famous Rum Runner<\/strong> and many other cocktails. Ordering drinks here will not cause any special effects, but it may get you \u201cmade\u201d with the wise guys. Capone\u2019s also offers a great selection of T-shirts and other items as souvenirs.<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Reservations are NOT<\/strong> required at <strong>Trader Sam\u2019s Grog Grotto<\/strong>.
