When visiting Florida for spring training, you can build up quite an appetite watching your teams play. No matter who your favorite team is, being out in the stands all day will make a baseball fan hungry. Take a break from the typical hot dogs and cola and visit some of Florida’s top restaurants. You’ll be glad you did, and your appetite will thank you!

1.) Azteca’s Mexican Restaurant - Like Mexican food? Tickle your taste buds and eat at Azteca’s Mexican Restaurant in Kissimmee, Fla. They offer nachos, taquitos, mexican pizza, quesadillas, and more. A lunch, dinner, and kids menu are all available. Most entrées range from $7-$15. Azteca’s has a variety of Mexican salads, soups, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and a "Little Amigo" menu for the youngsters. This is a great restaurant to get a lot of food for a small price!

2.) Capone’s Dinner and Show - Want to try a little something different? Visit Capone’s Dinner and Show in Kissimmee, Fla. Capone’s is a Dinner Theater set in the early 1930s that features stand up comedy, musical numbers, and audience participation. Dinner theaters are always an entertaining and fun atmosphere, something different than just going to a sit-down restaurant. Show times generally start at 7:30 p.m., but on certain days, matinee and early show times are offered as well. A delicious buffet is provided, with salads, Italian food, turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Dessert is included. Adults are $53.99, and children ages 4 to 12 are $33.99. Save money with an online coupon and purchase tickets ahead of time at Capone’s. What a great way to spend the evening after a long day watching the players out in the field!

3.) Bern’s Steakhouse - So you’ve been sitting in the sun all day, and want to go out for a nice dinner. Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa, Fla. is the perfect restaurant for this. They claim to have a fine art in steaks. Dress is more formal, and they suggest you wear business casual to formal clothing. They offer salads, fish, caviar, numerous steaks with sauce of your choice, soups, and much more. Price ranges anywhere from $10-$200, depending on what you get, and how big a steak you choose. Bern’s is perfect for a special night out with a significant other, or for a more formal evening.

4.) The Spaghetti Warehouse - Like pasta? Then The Spaghetti Warehouse in Tampa, Fla. is the place for you. They serve Italian food with an American flair. Spaghetti Warehouse offers salads, soups, different kinds of lasagna, several kinds of spaghetti, chicken florentine, alfredo, fettuccine, and many more pastas. Most entrées range from $8-$15. Come hungry and leave full!

5.) Bonefish Grill - While you’re in Florida, why not try local Floridian food? Bonefish Grill in Bradenton, Fla. is a local, highly recommended seafood restaurant. They serve soups and salads, grilled fish, chicken marsala, filet mignon, burgers, fish tacos and more. This is not just a place to come to eat, though. Bonefish also features emerging musicians and a bar. The price ranges anywhere from $8-$40, depending on what you get. Before visiting, check out their interactive website: Bonefish Grill Website. Bonefish is a great place to go if you can’t decide what type of food you are craving, because they offer just about every kind of entrée.

Instead of going to the concession stand and grabbing a burger or hot dog, make the most of your spring training vacation and visit some of Florida’s top restaurants. Who knows—you may just find a new favorite place to eat!
