Half Off Tickets to These Hot Attractions!

Wet ‘n Wild and Capone’s Dinner & Show Offer Half-Price Tickets

Editor’s Note: The Wet ‘n Wild closed for good December 31, 2016. This post is for reference only to what was an awesome Orlando water park. Capone’s continues to thrive and STILL offers half-price tickets when purchased online.

It’s a hot summer, and one of the best ways to cool off (other than seeing the show in Capone’s air-conditioned theater) is by visiting a water park. Even better is visiting a water park at half the cost! Now through August 16th, 2014, Wet ‘n Wild is offering tickets for guests that arrive at the park after 5:00 p.m. at half price! You’ll have four hours to cool off!

Wet 'n Wild Orlando Aqua Drag Racer

The Aqua Drag Racer™ was delayed in its opening from June until just this past week. It is Florida’s tallest and fastest water-based racing attraction of its kind. Standing 6 stories tall, it sends guests down through twisting tunnels at 15 feet per second. Since four guests start at the same time, the race is on! Riders must be at least 42” tall.

Wet ‘n Wild is widely known as the most family-friendly Orlando water park. There are more than 15 themed rides and attractions. There are also more multi-person rides than any other water park in the Orlando area. They have an entire area for small tots (children 2 and under are free) which makes it very enjoyable for supervising parents.

Need great water shoes? Check out this in-depth resource.

Tickets to this Orlando water park are normally $56, although you can get $10 off when you purchase tickets online. With the half off discount, the after-5 price will be $28 for adults and $25.50 for kids 3-9 years. Other attraction tickets deals are available for Florida residents. Wet ‘n Wild is located at 6200 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. For tickets and more information, go to

Half Off Tickets to this Orlando Attraction

It’s not often that you can get into an attraction at half the cost, unless you are talking about Capone’s Dinner & Show. Our tickets are always half off when you purchase them directly through Capone’s online ticket site. While we are not one of the BIG attractions, neither is Wet ‘n Wild, but the smaller parks and attractions are often the best. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by your visit to our Orlando dinner show, AND to this Orlando water park. We’re just up/down the road from each other, so you can hit Wet ‘n Wild one night during your vacation, and ‘get hit’ at our dinner show another evening!

Weekends at SeaWorld Offer Birds, Brew & More

SeaWorld WIld Days

Everyone loves penguins, right? If you have a special interest in these funny, interesting and entertaining creatures, then don’t miss the last weekend of Wild Days at SeaWorld. This weekend, January 25 & 26, animal expert, Julie Scardina, will tell stories of her trips around the globe in efforts of conservation and for her love of animals. Don’t miss this up-close animal event you can only experience at an Orlando theme park.

SeaWorld penguinsThe best way to experience Wild Days is with a 2014 SeaWorld Fun Card. If you buy one, you can get one FREE at the gate with any recyclable can or bottle from any Coca-Cola beverage product. Talk about an incentive to recycle! Once you have your Fun Card, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to this weekend’s Wild Days event as well as special benefits during other events throughout the entire year.

While you’re at SeaWorld, make sure to stop by the Shamu Up Close experience. Once the folks at SeaWorld bring back the regular killer whale show, you’ll not have the chance for this type of experience. Read more about this limited time show on this earlier post…

Now that you have a yearly pass (if you don’t have one, get one or a cheap one-day theme park ticket), head back to SeaWorld on the weekends for the Bands, Brew & BBQ event. This weekend festival begins February 1 and runs through March 9, 2014. Concerts begin at 4pm, but you can purchase a Brew Sampler ticket ($24) and arrive as early as 11:30 a.m. There has been some controversy of bands cancelling, however, I’m sure SeaWorld will fill the void with great music. The best way to see what bands will be playing is to visit SeaWorld’s Facebook page. Besides, the event isn’t just about bands. Personally, I think going to this event for the Brew & BBQ is well worth it. Where else can you see cute fuzzy arctic creatures, enjoy a cold one & feast on good southern food?

SeaWorld is a great theme park to attend, and the next few weekends they have a lot to offer. If you’re visiting the Central Florida area and have tickets for this Orlando theme park, enjoy your time there. Also, make sure you save a night for Capone’s Dinner & Show. It is the best value of all the Orlando dinner shows. Everyone in your family can get into the era of prohibition. With over 15 beverages to choose from (included in the price of the ticket), everyone in your gang will find something to enjoy…from brews to Shirley Temples! And if you think the penguins at SeaWorld are funny, you’ll love the “birds” at Capone’s! Hysterical characters all around.

Orlando Waterpark Aquatica Offers Great Deal

Now is a perfect time to visit Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark. A limited number of $19 tickets are available on select days (mostly Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and some Fridays) now through December 31. However, you must pick the day you want to go to the park in advance, and you must purchase your tickets directly from Aquatica.

This time of the year the weather can change with colder days and warmer days all mixed together. It can be difficult to pick a nice day in advance, however, the water at Aquatica is heated to 82 degrees all year long. Therefore, it is comfortable regardless of the air temperatures. Aquatica is also open throughout the holidays, so the entire family can have a great time at an all-time low price. Hours this time of the year are normally 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

If you live in Florida and think you’d like to go to this waterpark more than once (and who wouldn’t), purchase an annual pass. For a limited time, they are only $8 per month! Aquatica will set you up on EZpay, their convenient payment plan for Florida residents, and you’ll be all set for an entire year! Aquatica’s pass members receive discounts and special offers throughout the year, so once you’re set up, you’ll continue to save.

Ihu's Breakaway Falls

Recently Aquatica announced that is was building a new attraction at this Orlando water park. It will top 100 feet! Guaranteed to send guests screaming all the way down, Ihu’s Breakaway Falls may be available before your annual pass expires! The opening date has not been revealed, just that it is coming in 2014. The drop slide will be the tallest, steepest and only multi-slide ride of its kind in Orlando.

After a wet day in the water, join the gang at Capone’s Dinner & Show for some ‘dry’ humor, great show and delicious food. This Orlando dinner show is just down the road from Aquatica at 4740 W. Hwy. 192 (also known as W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway), Kissimmee, FL 34746. You’ll have a blast at this family-friendly dinner show.

Government Employee Specials & Discounts in Orlando

Orlando dinner shows and theme parks are well-known for their military specials. Almost every Central Florida attraction offers some type of discount prices for military. It is a great way to show appreciation for their service. However, not all of these discounts apply to government employees. These public servants are often left out and do not receive special discount prices to area attractions, dinner shows and accommodations.

Capone’s Dinner & Show is currently running a special offer for government employees. The way we see it, as a government employee, you’ve served a lot of folks. Now it’s YOUR turn to be served. For the low price of only $19.99, every person in your party can enjoy an excellent evening of “dinnertainment!” Let the wise guys and gals at this popular Orlando dinner show serve you a big meal with lots of laughs at a ridiculously low price. It doesn’t matter if you work for our federal government, or are employed by a state, county or city government agency, you can take advantage of this great ticket deal. One thing that makes this discounted ticket offer really stand out, is the fact that not only YOU get this low price, every person in your party gets this price! The only bad thing about this special offer is that it ends October 15, 3013.

What do you need to do to take advantage of Capone’s government employee offer? You can print this flier (link will open in another browser window), or go to this page on Capone’s web site and print it out. Call 1-800-220-8428 to make your reservation. Tell the mobster on the phone that you’ll be bringing in the coupon for the special deal, how many people are in your party, and what date you’ll be attending the show. Be sure to bring the coupon and your government-issued i.d. with you when you come to the show. Check in at the box office and everything will be arranged for you. If you’ll be celebrating a special occasion when you attend the dinner show, let the gang know that too. Special recognition for any occasion is blast!

Flapper dancers and beat cop

Capone’s Dinner & Show is not the only Orlando attraction to offer government employees a special deal. Many other Orlando dinner shows, theme parks and hotels also show their appreciation by providing great ticket deals or discounted prices. You can usually find these deals by going online and performing a search in the topic for which you are interested in.

If traveling to Orlando from out of town, there are several hotels which offer government special prices. Marriott, Aston Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree by Hilton and Embassy Suites are just a few of the hotels where you can show your government-issued id and receive a discount on lodging. A fantastic place to stay if you have young children and will be including the area theme parks during your stay is Nickelodeon Family Suites.  They have a lot of activities for the kids, so it might be a good idea to plan NOTHING for one day during your vacation just so you can have fun right there at the resort!

If you travel a lot, it might be wise to sign up for a free account on a web site such as Gov Vacation Rewards. By being a member, you’ll have access to special offers on cruise lines, resort stays and many of the theme parks and attractions located throughout the United States! Not only will you get a good deal, but a portion of the proceeds from this organization is donated back to service members through government-ran departments such as the MWR (Morale, Welfare & Recreation) department, Wounded Warrior Program and Vacations for Veterans.

Regardless of where you stand on our government’s actions and policies, it is a nice gesture to thank the employees that help keep this great Country running. If you happen to be one of these people, take advantage of the special offers while they last. When they expire, please know that our appreciation continues every day. Thank you for your service!

Florida Residents: It’s Discount Attraction Ticket Time!

Capone’s Dinner & Show isn’t the only Orlando attraction offering half price tickets. Today through December 31, 2013, Florida residents can purchase tickets to Wet ‘n’ Wild at half the cost of the regular admission price!  The only catch? Some of the tickets must be purchased online (and a few other details… keep reading).

Wet 'n' Wild Water Park Orlando

Wet ‘n’ Wild is a very popular water park located on International Drive. This area is very busy with tourists, and many of them are from Florida. This discount attraction ticket deal is great for visitors to Central Florida. Whether you’re traveling here from the panhandle, northeast coast, southwest coast or the Keys, Central Florida has a lot to offer our own residents, especially this time of the year. The half price admission cost for Florida residents is $27.50 plus tax. You can purchase up to 6 tickets on one ID. It is good for one day only. Perfect for visitors.

If you live in Orlando or a nearby town, as a local resident, you might be interested in some other options which Wet ‘n’ Wild offers. You can “buy a day” and get the rest of this year free. It also includes a $5 discount, so the price is $50 plus tax. Not bad. The Day Platinum Pass is also an excellent value. You pay full price general admission ($99 plus tax) and get the rest of the year free – plus – you get to skip the regular lines! (One time per visit.) On some days, this won’t seem like that great of a value, but there will be several more weeks of warm-weather crowds, so the lines will still be longer on certain days. If you have a favorite ride, use the Express Pass on that ride and enjoy the perks. The Express Pass bargain deal must be purchased by September 2.

All of Wet ‘n’ Wild Florida Resident offers are not valid during special events, after-hour events or private parties. They all expire on December 31, 2013. The one-day half price tickets and the Day Platinum Pass are available online only. You can get the “buy a day” get the rest of the year free ticket deal at the water park.

At Capone’s, there isn’t a catch at all for their half price tickets. This Orlando dinner show offers fantastic discount attraction tickets year round, online or at the box office. If you’ve never experienced this entertaining evening of fun, do so now! They even offer a special gift for Florida residents (be sure to click the direct link to this great offer). It’s a fantastic time of the year to visit some of the Orlando area’s must-try attractions and dinner show opportunities. It’s a great time to be a Florida resident!
