Aquatica Water Park in Orlando

Aquatica Water Park is an Orlando attraction owned by SeaWorld, which is located next door. Entry into this water park is around $60 for an adult. The lower cost does not take away from the activities it provides for their visitors. In fact, there is so much to do here, some would be willing to pay more to enter.

Aquatica is actually SeaWorld’s amazing water park. Visitors experience up-close animals, attractions that include two wave pools and a man-made white-sand beach that provide visitors deck chairs, sun beds, and umbrellas while relaxing.

Guests entering this Orlando attraction are drawn into 60 acres of vividly colored landscaping. The architecture is a combination of South Sea Islands, New Zealand, Australia, and New Guinea. Aquatica’s landscaping is breathtaking. Crystal blue rivers winding through the hidden grottos, and cool, refreshing waterfalls provide a relaxing invitation.

Water Park Attractions

Fun-filled excitement is provided by Aquatica’s famous Dolphin Plunge; sending riders, in clear tubes so they can see the assorted water life through them, into a crystal blue lagoon; home to Commerson’s black and white dolphin.

Also found at this Orlando attraction is the world’s only side-by-side wave pools. These can be operated at the same time or one at a time. There are also two different wave strengths for each; stronger to gentler.

The newest water attraction is Ihu’s Breakaway Falls. This is the tallest, steepest and only multi-drop tower of its kind in Orlando. Step into the queue and be prepared. You never know when it is your turn to drop and have the wildest thrill ride of all!

One of the newer water slides at Aquatica, Omaka Rocka, uses high-speed tubes through half-pipe funnels, giving ‘thrill ride’ a new meaning. This fast, yet thin, slide will have you sliding front-ways, splashing and climbing the walls. Thrilling enough you’ll want to get right back on it.

A lazy river consisting of 700-square-feet, which surrounds the majority of the park, provides relaxation before entering a splash zone of water jets and sprays.

A utility pool, consisting of five lanes, provides an exercise and swimming area. Ranging from zero depth upon entry to four feet area in the middle of the pool, it provides safety zones for children while having a bucket spray area for the older kids.

All in all, for the low price, this Orlando attraction has something for every family member to enjoy. The water rides provide enough thrill for the teens and adults while other water areas let the youngsters have a lot of fun. So plan your vacation to include Aquatica and come splash around without having to spend all of your life’s savings. It will become one of your favorites.
