Also found at this Orlando attraction is the world’s only side-by-side wave pools. These can be operated at the same time or one at a time. There are also two different wave strengths for each; stronger to gentler.
The newest water attraction is Ihu’s Breakaway Falls. This is the tallest, steepest and only multi-drop tower of its kind in Orlando. Step into the queue and be prepared. You never know when it is your turn to drop and have the wildest thrill ride of all!
One of the newer water slides at Aquatica, Omaka Rocka, uses high-speed tubes through half-pipe funnels, giving ‘thrill ride’ a new meaning. This fast, yet thin, slide will have you sliding front-ways, splashing and climbing the walls. Thrilling enough you’ll want to get right back on it.
A lazy river consisting of 700-square-feet, which surrounds the majority of the park, provides relaxation before entering a splash zone of water jets and sprays.
A utility pool, consisting of five lanes, provides an exercise and swimming area. Ranging from zero depth upon entry to four feet area in the middle of the pool, it provides safety zones for children while having a bucket spray area for the older kids.
