Many restaurants in Kissimmee plug along with the same menu, same staff, same hours and same routine. That’s great if it is a successful business, however, a good restaurant will listen to it’s patrons and adjust to their needs and wishes. They will also reflect on their previous year’s earnings and make adjustments to be more successful.

Take Darden for example which has several restaurants in Kissimmee and operates more than 2,000 company-owned restaurants. Olive Garden’s president stepped down, and their company appointed a new chief marketing officer. They will retool their restaurant marketing, because of second quarter sales being off. Another example is Krispy Kreme, also with a restaurant in Kissimmee on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. They have hired a new woman to head their U.S. franchise in efforts to revamp their expansion efforts here in the States. This comes after a big change in management, closing stores, lowering debt, etc. This gives hope to the restaurant business in Kissimmee.

It is a proven fact that when restaurants in Kissimmee do well, the local economy looks good. That is why it is important for Kissimmee restaurants to listen to their customers. Wing Zone hopes to draw more female customers with boneless, unbreaded chicken wings; new frozen yogurt flavors are being introduced at Baskin-Robbins; and lighter fare will increase at Panera, Applebee’s, Chili’s and other restaurants in Kissimmee.

Capone’s Dinner & Show has also listened to their patrons. This Kissimmee restaurant and attraction has reintroduced a salad bar to compliment their delicious dinner buffet. Salad items had been on the buffet prior to last year, however, guests choosing to create their salads slowed the line down. The wise guys then began to plate the salads at guests tables, which sped up the buffet line. Visitors began to request the salad buffet to come back, many in an effort to fill up on lighter provisions. Again, the owner and staff at Capone’s listened. They now have a separate salad buffet line in the lower level of their theatre, satisfying their guests’ desire for more salad without slowing the hot item buffet.

Good Kissimmee restaurants listen to their guests. Let’s continue to keep our ears and eyes open and make 2013 a profitable one with patrons coming back because of great food, fantastic service and an overall wonderful experience. The kind of treatment you get at Capone’s Dinner & Show.
