There is no shortage of dining options when vacationing in the Central Florida area. Most tourists, and especially families will include a few days at an Orlando theme park. Throughout your visit to these attractions, chances to dine will present themselves at nearly every turn. You have a lot of choices!

Dining while visiting Epcot is no exception to this rule. Walt Disney World continually adds or updates your dining options. In 2013 the Morocco pavilion added Spice Road Table. It is located along the World Showcase Lagoon and offers refreshments and small portioned plates. This is just part of Disney’s efforts to “spice up” the Morocco pavilion area at this Orlando theme park.

In December of 2012 the France Pavilion had a new bakery added above Chefs de France which is a little less formal, yet still offers true French cuisine. Boulangerie Patisserie Les Halles (yes, I know, I cannot pronounce it either) not only offers fresh-baked bread but fresh salads and sandwiches too. The seating in this area has been increased and a new Glacier ice cream parlor added. Yummy!

Another fairly new restaurant at Epcot’s France Pavilion is Monsier Paul, providing guests with a refined, yet casual French dining experience. This is a perfect location to dine while watching the “IllumiNations” fireworks show over Epcot during the evening. Make sure you make reservations (call 407-939-3463 or make them online).

Restaurants and food vendors dot the Epcot landscape. Finding one is not a problem. You might even encounter a venue that you’ve seen right in your own town center. Starbucks has locations in both Magic Kingdom and Epcot. This chain offers their signature beverages, an assortment of baked goods and even accepts Starbucks gift cards.

Another note-able newer dining option, in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney), includes Raglan Road. This Irish restaurant now offers a new Sunday brunch menu with breakfast, lunch and dinner items from 11am to 4pm. Entertainment starts at noon. If you have a party of 6 or more, call ahead and order a Host the Roast. You’ll get a great selection of meats carved at your table and plenty of side dishes fill with good Irish home cooking.

When planning a vacation including Epcot or any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, check out the list of dining options prior to your arrival. If planning your meals (and your budget) are important, this can help a lot. Otherwise, just wing it and dine at whatever area of the theme park you are hungry at. There are plenty of places to eat at Orlando’s attractions.

Remember to save a night for Capone’s Dinner & Show. It is a great Orlando dinner show which the entire family can enjoy. Everything is included in your half price tickets (when purchasing online) – show, delicious dinner buffet, unlimited drinks (including alcohol selections), dessert, parking and more. It is a great dining option outside of the Orlando theme park scene. You’re gang will love it!
