The new show at Capone’s is reviving some old guest favorites. When something is liked, it is nice to see it come around again. Unlike sweater vests, hair metal bands, velour tracksuits or mullet hair cuts, some things are pleasing to experience again. Such is the case with some of the ‘new’ features in Capone’s anniversary show.

More Audience Participation

Audience participation has always played a large role in the show. It is definitely a guest favorite. However, now there is more audience participation than ever before. Guests participate from the very beginning when they must say a secret password to enter the speakeasy. From that time on, until the evening’s end, participation escalates throughout the new show at Capone’s. Guests that welcome participation, seem to have the best experience of all.

In previous shows, mostly men from the audience were selected to ‘help out’ on stage. Now men, women and even children (seasonal) participate. While the cast has always handled nearly every situation with complete professionalism, their talent in this area is utilized now more than ever. Men and women are somewhat predictable, but kids? They do and say the darnedest things… and you can bet the wise guys and gals are prepared for it!

New Show at Capone’s Revives Old Song Favorite

Even some of the musical numbers have been revived from past shows. For example, check out the photo below from the early 1990’s. It features dancers performing the old “Cell Block Tango.” It has been revived from the very first show ever performed at this Orlando dinner show. Now this guest favorite is featured all over again in the new show at Capone’s. Wait until you see the new version!

New Show at Capone’s features old hit

“Cell Block Tango” is revived from this early 1990’s hit.

Repeat offenders (returning guests) know several of the songs that are performed nightly. Often songs get stuck in your noodle after attending the new show at Capone’s. Check out this recent guest comment:

“Happy Mother’s Day!! My seven-year-old has been entertaining me all day with endless choruses of ‘fuh-get about it!!’ ‘get atta here!!’ and of course her favorite, ‘I like-a yo’ spicy meatballs!!!’ Thank you so much [C. Y.] for inviting us [to Capone’s Dinner & Show]! We had the time of our lives.”
