There are many fine dining choices in the Orlando/Winter Park area. Read our post if you’d like advice on selecting one. If you live in Kissimmee, or are staying closer to the theme parks and do not want to get into the traffic, fine dining at a Kissimmee restaurant is within a short drive or cab ride away.

We’ve already mentioned the California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It is worth mentioning again. They truely make the holidays special at Walt Disney World. Expect to pay between $36 to $60 per person without alcoholic beverages. Book online or phone (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days in advance.

Another fine dining restaurant in Kissimmee also located on WDW property is the Bull & Bear at the Waldorf Astoria. This Kissimmee restaurant exudes a club-like warmth with handsome furnishing and impeccable service. If you’re hungry, try the 36-ounce 28-day dry-aged Tomahawk Rib Eye. This Kissimmee restaurant serves Certified Angus Beef Prime Grade cuts. It will melt in your mouth. You still might be able to make reservations for their Christmas Day special ($95 per person) by calling in your reservation at 407-597-5500.

Other fine dining restaurants near Kissimmee, yet located near or on WDW property include:

Another fine dining Kissimmee restaurant that has great steaks is Charley’s Steak House at 2901 Parkway Blvd. As part of a chain of restaurants owned by Talk of the Town Restaurants, this fine dining location in Kissimmee also features market fresh fish, fine wines, wonderful appetizers and desserts. Other restaurants in this chain located a little further north near Sand Lake Road include FishBones, Johnnie’s Hideaway, MoonFish and Vito’s Chop House. If staying nearer to the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, make reservations at the Old Hickory Steakhouse by calling (407) 586-1600. This is fine dining at its finest. Fabulous food, excellent service and an evening of being treated in luxury. This is not a fast food experience. Expect to spend a few hours there, as well as a few hundred dollars (just for two).

Nearer to Hwy. 192 you will find a nice fine dining experience in Kissimmee at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse (2901 Parkway Blvd.).  Speaking of Asian, Seito Sushi Celebration(in Celebration, on Front Street) and Mizu Japanese Steakhouse (407) 846-8828 at 1632 West Osceola Parkway are also an enjoyable fine dining experience. At Vineland and 192 is Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill. Perhaps not as fancy as the others, but still a fine dining Kissimmee restaurant. Romano’s Macaroni Grill is yet another restaurant in Kissimmee that can be classified as fine dining located at 5320 W. Irlo Bronson. These restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisines; you will not be disappointed.
