Various Orlando theme parks, night clubs, hotels, and other businesses welcome Gay Days Orlando. This event is celebrated once a year. The dates have moved from early summer to late summer. Dates for the 29th Annual Gay Days® will be August 13 – 19, 2019. What was once a one-day event in 1991, when gay and lesbian visitors attended Walt Disney World, the event has grown into a week-long celebration. Gay Days attracts more than 180,000 attendees. Over $100 million is estimated to be infused into the local economy from this event.

Brief History of Gay Days Orlando

GayDays.com was launched in 1998. A year-round staff of professionals is dedicated to establishing Gay Days Orlando as a fully recognized and respected addition to the Central Florida tourism and cultural calendar. Since its involvement, this event has been added to many business calendars as an opportunity to reach the LGBTQ community. Several local businesses embrace it. Even more importantly (if you are an attendee), this organization has helped visitors acquire tickets for the myriad of events now held during this week. The event now boasts an organized itinerary, including online ticket ordering and hotel reservations.

Capone’s Special Offer

While Capone’s Dinner & Show has not set aside a single evening to welcome Gay Days Orlando visitors, we’d like to invite all attendees to check out our dinner show ANY day. Our blast from the past is a great way to start off an evening of fun enjoying the show and our dinner buffet. Since GayDayS.com is a member of VISIT FLORIDA, the state tourism agency, we’re extending our offer of half-off tickets and a free gift to any Gay Days attendee. We support organizations and businesses involved with the Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Half-Price Tickets

We’d also like to thank the Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Community Center of Orlando (GLBCC). They are the birthplace of this multifaceted event. Their efforts and persistence help keep this tourism opportunity alive in Central Florida. We hope that tolerance, respect and a welcoming spirit be shared by all this week. We live in tough economic times. It’s nice when everyone can take the opportunity to enjoy a vacation and be themselves.
