Beast at Disney

The Beast welcomes guests at this Disney restaurant attraction.

If you enjoy the 1991 Disney film “Beauty and the Beast,” (who doesn’t?), you’ll love dining at the Magic Kingdom’s Be Our Guest restaurant. This dining experience has only been open since 2012, and getting a dinner reservation has been as difficult as dining with Cinderella’s Royal Table since it opened! Unlike Capone’s Dinner & Show, where an entire mob can easily make a reservation, this French restaurant gets mobbed with guests trying to make a single reservation!

Starting February 25, guests looking to dine at this castle-like attraction for lunch or dinner, can make Advance Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance. Gone will be the FastPass+ testing for resort guests. The long lunch lines, which have typically stretched from the restaurant’s bridge out into Fantasyland, will also disappear. No reservation – no dining – no reason to stand in line hoping to get in.

Lunch is served daily from 10:00 a.m. to 2:55 p.m. While it is considered quick-service dining, the menu is still quite upscale. Be sure to stop by the Enchanted Tales With Belle attraction prior to eating lunch and see Belle in her cottage, because the Beast nor Belle are not present during lunch hours. If you do not have a reservation, there is a better chance of getting to dine at this attraction for lunch rather than dinner. Check-in as soon as the restaurant opens to see if there are any available tables. You may also try walking up prior to 2:30 p.m. to see if there is a late lunch vacancy.

Dinner is table-service dining and even more popular than lunch. Dinner at this restaurant is nearly a Disney dinner show! You’ll be welcomed by the Beast himself in one of three spectacularly-themed dining rooms. The enchanted rose drops its petals periodically in the West Wing. A music box plays as the Beast and Belle dance atop as it rotates in the Rose Gallery. In the Main Ballroom, floor-to-ceiling windows reveal mountains with gently falling snow outside with sparkling chandeliers within. You will definitely be drawn into the story from the moment you walk into the castle until you exit.

Making Reservations

As crazy as this may sound, guests who will be staying at the resort will want to time their reservation to the minute of their vacation 180 days in advance. At 180 days out, you can make your reservation online at 6:00 a.m. EST. Set your alarm if you must. If you are not staying on-site, you can still try to make your reservation in advance. Keep trying several days as well as calling in to find a vacancy at (407) 939-5277.

Without a reservation, it is difficult to experience this spectacular theme park dinner attraction. You can always try walking up to the restaurant at 4:30 p.m. to inquire about a vacancy, and if you are able to snag one, consider yourself lucky! Like the Enchanted Rose, a reservation being dropped is rare.

Dinner Show & Restaurant Attraction

Since you are planning your dining 180 days in advance of your vacation, why not visit alcapones.com and snag your VIP tickets to this Orlando dinner show while you are at it? General admission discounted tickets do occasionally sell out, however, the VIP tickets almost always sell out!

If you’re uncertain of all your plans during your stay in the area, reservations can be made the day of your visit. You may also walk up to the box office an hour prior to the show and possibly get in. Just keep in mind, the earlier you make your reservation at this Kissimmee dinner show, the better seats you will have.

You’ll not be welcomed by the Beast at this dinner attraction, but you will certainly welcome the feast! It is a dining experience you’ll definitely want to schedule for one evening of your visit to the Orlando area. Unlike many other dinner shows in Orlando, Capone’s Dinner & Show is the only one like it in the entire country. Al and the wise guys and gals will always want you to “Be Our Guest!”
