New Year’s Eve in Orlando

The countdown has started and New Year’s Eve is anxiously waiting for everyone to celebrate in Orlando. One more chance to celebrate 2022 and ring in, what will hopefully be, a great new year in 2023. Do you have New Year’s Eve plans in Orlando?

Depending upon how you want to celebrate during New Year’s Eve, you might want to check out the following venues. Some prefer the club scene, other a fancy gala. Maybe theater or theme parks are where you want to be. There are many options to bring in the New Year in Orlando.

If you’re looking to party with the adults (21 or older ) and get into the downtown club scene, check out:

  • ICEBAR Orlando: Two admission options to choose from that include bar specials, midnight dessert buffet and Champagne toast.
  • Blue Martini: General Admission fee of $50 includes Open Wine Bar from 8-9pm, Premium Open Bar from 9-11pm, Hand Passed Hors d’oeuvres from 8-11pm, All Night Entry, Live Entertainment, party favors, and Champagne toast at Midnight. Standing Room only.  Private tables are also available.
  • Wall Street Plaza: One Street with nine venues. This annual December 31st Block Party is downtown Orlando’s largest New Year’s Eve event. If you’re nearer to Sanford, check out The Alley New Year’s Eve Party starting at 9:00 pm. This club offers some of the best live music in the area. Call 407-328-4848 for more information.

Somewhere in between Sanford and downtown? Go to the Enzian Theater: Celebrate at the James Bond New Year’s Party. Cheers to the New Year with martinis “shaken not stirred”, champagne, an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a balloon drop at midnight. Go Dressed to Kill to win prizes for the best James Bond or Bond Girl costumes.

If you’re looking to bring in the New Year with your family and children, the Orlando theme parks are a sure bet.

  • Walt Disney World Theme Parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are all open past midnight for a special night of family celebrations to ring in the New Year.
  • Universal Orlando Theme Parks: Extended hours at both parks. Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios will stay open until 1:00 am with special events for New Year’s Eve. Universal CityWalk has live music, food, a nightclub, and a champagne toast.
  • SeaWorld Orlando: Enjoy a New Year’s Eve bash at SeaWorld Orlando. Live music and a DJ keep the party going all the way through midnight. They will have additional shows, and extended fireworks.
  • Legoland Florida will have fireworks at the kid-appropriate time earlier in the evening.
