With locations in Memphis, Nashville, West Palm Beach, Las Vegas and now Orlando, BB Kings Blues Club now offers local residents and visitors the chance to hear great blues music while feasting on some good southern food. This supper-club style restaurant & live music venue has some of the finest live, local entertainment in Central Florida. They also feature fantastic guest artists and groups, including “Trampled Under Foot” which will be performing May 10 at 7:30pm. This group out of Kansas City is made up of 3 siblings (Nick, Kris & Danielle Schnebelen) and taking Florida to a new level of blues enjoyment performing songs from their newly released CD, Wrong Side of the Blues. If you miss TUF, don’t worry, the BB Kings Blues Club features live music every night and their house band, BB King All Star Band, is very entertaining performing from 7:30 – 11:30 when special groups are not on their calendar.

The menu at BB Kings features fried dill pickles, Memphis-style chicken salad, BBQ ribs, fried chicken, pork chops, burgers and more. Entrees range from $13 to $28. Their beverages include beer, wine, the usual Coke products and ice cream floats. Yummy! Although your dinner may not be ‘light’ – you can dance away the calories on their dance floor. With great live music nightly, it is easy to enjoy your dinner and the show.

The BB Kings Blues Club consists of three different areas ranging from an outside patio, a mezzanine that looks over the main stage and a large seating area and dance floor. It is located at Pointe Orlando at 9101 International Drive #2230, Orlando, FL 32819, phone 407-370-4550. If you are staying at a hotel on International Drive, I suggest taking a cab and not dealing with the traffic and parking.

At Capone’s Dinner & Show, we realize that every once-in-awhile, you’re in the mood for some blues. With Pointe Orlando just up the road from our Kissimmee theatre, we hope you enjoy the BB Kings Blues Club one evening during your stay. However, be sure to save an evening for comedy and a prohibition era speakeasy at Capone’s Dinner & Show. Al and his gang will lighten up your blues with their buffet-style dinner show.
