The Coral Reef Restaurant is located at The Seas with Nemo & Friends Pavilion at Epcot theme park. This Orlando, Florida restaurant is best known for its stunning underwater views of the Caribbean Coral Reef.  Art deco tables and booths face a tank full of 85 species of tropical fish, sharks, rays and sea turtles.  You may even catch scuba divers swimming with them.  Be sure to ask for a table down front for the best view.

Appetizers include crab cakes, creamy lobster soup, and steamed mussels.  Entrees have plenty of seafood options including lobster ravioli, seared Scottish Salmon, and Grilled Mahi Mahi.  However, this is not a ‘seafood’ only restaurant, and non-seafood lovers have their choices of Grilled New York strip Steak, Roasted Pork Tenderloin, and Seared Chicken Breast. The kids menu includes cheese pizza, grilled chicken, and grilled fish of the day.  Visit the website for full menu.

As with most of the Disney restaurants, you can make reservations up to 180 days in advance, the restaurant is non-smoking, and the food is pricey.

While at Epcot, be sure to check out the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, running now through May 15th.  Of course, Epcot admission is required to eat at the Coral Reef, so if you are not visiting Epcot, be sure to check out Capone’s Dinner and Show for a fabulous, entertaining evening!
