As promised, STK Orlando is “just as much about the night out as it is about the food.” (Jonathan Segal, CEO of The One Group) Make no mistake, however, the food is exceptional. Now open in the Landing section of Disney Springs, the STK Orlando steakhouse changes your mind about what a steakhouse is.
The STK Orlando joins locations in Atlanta, Miami Beach, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., London, Ibiza and Milan. Roll outs are planned for Denver, Dallas and Austin as well. By the end of this year, there will be 16 STK locations. The Orlando location is a 14,000-square-foot space with two floors including rooftop dining. Complete with several bars and a DJ, you’ll want to spend a full evening there.
STK Orlando Signature Dining
If you want an upscale dining experience, STK Orlando will deliver. The downstairs area features striking clean lines with white chairs and linens, dark contrasts and accent pieces and lighting that are very stunning. The upstairs indoor dining room may feel a little more relaxed, yet the setting is still very upscale with exceptional service. The patio dining (with a fire pit) offers a nice “urban” view of the newly vamped Disney Springs community. For dinner with a lot of conversation, either plan an early dinner or request upstairs seating. As the evening progresses, the downstairs area livens up with dancing and loud music. Your preference isn’t guaranteed with your reservation, but the staff will do their best.
STK Orlando Menu
Being a steakhouse, STK Orlando doesn’t disappoint when it comes to delicious steaks. Other items on the menu including seafood, sandwiches and salads. Be prepared to order your complete meal at the start (except dessert). Choose your appetizer, main dish, sides and even cocktails to keep the meal progressing as only a signature restaurant can. The prices are high (easy to spend over $60 per person for dinner), but compared to other high-end steakhouses, they are in line. Feel free to split the “large” listings as you’ll have plenty to eat. Several sauces are also offered with your steak, and are fun to experiment with ($2 ea.), however, your steak will be flavorful without.
Side dishes are served family-style. Try their signature dishes. You won’t be disappointed. Dessert is also spectacular with several ice cream dishes, cake and cookie a-la-mode to choose from. If you are looking to split a dessert, try the Caramelia Layer Cake. STK also offers a kids menu and an extensive drink menu.
Dining Reservations
STK Orlando is open for lunch and dinner and is located at 1580 Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830. It is a great way to spend an evening out in an upscale “city vibe” setting. Closing at 11pm, there are places to go to afterwards right there in Disney Springs if you aren’t ready for the evening to end.
