Every year, Epcot hosts the International Flower & Garden Festival which includes many special events which are (for the most part) included with admission to the Epcot theme park. Educational presentations are held, themed weekend events are scheduled, several special displays are set up and there are even fun activities for kids.

Disney is spectacular this time of year with everything in bloom, however, the flowers and gardens created March 7th through May 20th for the Flower & Garden Festival are truly spectacular. You’ll find more than 100 topiaries throughout Epcot theme park—including more than 75 Disney character topiaries! The nation’s top designers from HGTV and DIY are also in attendance during the festival and can help you plan everything from planting your first garden to enhancing your home’s curb appeal with their expert advice.

If the gardens and programs weren’t enough, the festival also hosts exceptional live music performed by pop stars of the 1960s and ’70s. The Epcot Flower Power Concert Series is held each weekend with performances at the America Gardens Theatre at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45 p.m. each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Here is the 2012 Flower Power concert series lineup:

  • March 23-25: The Guess Who “American Woman”
  • March 30-April 1: The Spinners “Cupid”
  • April 6-8: Chubby Checker & The Wildcats “The Twist”
