The new show preview held at Capone’s Dinner & Show on September 16 was a huge success. While much work is still needed, the guests provided plenty of feedback. Visit the Facebook wall to read the comments. Overall, the general consensus is…the new show will be a huge hit!

Originally the new show was to debut on October 1st. Now the date has been pushed back to October 16th. This will give the cast more time to prepare, the costume details to be worked out, the music scores to be completed, the set to be finished, the ‘Al Capone family welcome’ to be fine-tuned and other details to be worked out. The wait will be well worth it.

Guests were treated to a buffet at the preview, which was greatly appreciated by all. A free show and lunch? Wow! Al sure is a generous guy. In return, guests have commented on the new show, spread the word to their fellow Facebook friends, and some even met with the show director after the preview to give their 2¢ worth.

I was asked if some of the content was too sensitive. If you were at the preview, please feel free to comment on Al’s Blog concerning this – especially the lines in the new show concerning:

  • Canadians
  • Gay Rights
  • Republicans/Political
  • Women’s Rights
  • Sexual Innuendos
  • Other (please specify)

I would also like to know what your favorite parts/lines in the new show preview were. Mine was the texting telephone. To me, that was very funny!  However, I spent most of the time laughing, so I could have missed something else incredibly witty.

So many guests have enjoyed the current show. If you’ve not seen it, or haven’t been to Capone’s in awhile, do yourself a night out and see the current show. If you are waiting for the new show, please call (407) 397-2378 to confirm that it will be performed on the night you’d like to visit. While the new date of October 16th is the goal, there is no guarantee that it won’t be pushed back again. You know show business!
