If it isn’t cold enough in Florida for your taste, there is a simple solution. No, it isn’t “go back where you came from!” We love our visitors from the North and enjoy sharing our warmer-than-there weather. If you’re looking for some cold fun though, we have it right here in Central Florida – ICE! at Gaylord Palms Resort – a limited-time attraction.

ICE! A limited-time attraction at Gaylord Palms.ICE! at Gaylord Palms this year features Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, over two million pounds of hand-carved ice sculptures, ice slides, and much more. At nine degrees, this is some COLD fun! For those of you that are 4 years old or older and at least 42” tall, you’re going to have a GREAT time! Bundle up and prepare to slide down the slippery and sometimes a bit bumpy slopes. This is a fun thing to do in Orlando that you won’t get to do very often.

The attraction is kept at 9° Fahrenheit. Be sure to dress appropriately: closed-toe shoes and long pants are required. Hooded winter coats are provided for your warmth and comfort inside the attraction and are available in a variety of sizes, including sizes for children. Hats and gloves are strongly recommended.

Prices range from $19.99-$26.99/child (4-11) to $29.99-$39.99/adult (12+) for ICE! admission. Weekdays are less expensive than weekends. Tickets are only sold online in advance. Parking is additional (currently $30). The best offer is to purchase a bundle – silver or gold. These packages include several activities in one ticket. Separate ticketed items include:

  • The Journey of Los Tres Reyes Magos Stage Show: The Three Kings Festival is told through story and song.
  • Feast with the Grinch Character Breakfast: Join The Grinch and his dog Max for a buffet loaded with holiday flavor to savor.
