If you are not afraid of heights, or surprises, your choice of Orlando water parks to visit for something new should be Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark. Ihu’s Breakaway Falls™ is now open and thrilling guests with its one-of-a-kind multi-drop tower slide. It is Orlando’s tallest and steepest water slide!

Ihu Breakaway Falls

Standing nearly 80 feet  tall, Ihu’s Breakaway Falls™ allows guests a surprise breakaway by way of a thrilling drop. You’re standing there one minute, then without notice, the floor beneath your feet drops. A wild ride down to a splash at the bottom is over before you can catch your breath. It’s a watery free-fall that will get your heart pumping long before the ride even begins.

This ride is for anyone 48” or taller and under 300 lbs. – and brave enough. You must be wearing a swim suit that is made of swimwear material (not cotton shorts or T-shirts). You’ll want to leave your cameras, shoes and loose items with a friend at the bottom. You will also need to maintain proper riding position throughout the entire experience. Cross your arms over your chest, keep your feet together and wait, wait, DROP!

If this new thrill ride is more than you can handle, don’t worry. There are several other rides to experience at this Orlando Waterpark. Here is a list of the popular attractions at Aquatica you can ride:

  • Dolphin Plunge®
  • HooRoo Run®
  • Ihu’s Breakaway Falls™
  • Omaka Rocka
  • Tassie’s Twisters
  • Taumata Racer®
  • Walhalla Wave®
  • Whanau Way

Currently the cost to experience this new ride and a day at the theme park starts at $28. To get this price, you will need to buy your tickets online. There are several other discount tickets available, so be sure to enquire about Florida resident savings and multi-park or multi-day/annual passes.

This new attraction couldn’t have come at a better time. The temperatures are heating up and a trip to an Orlando water park is a great way to cool a family down and keep the excitement up. Drop in (and down) and have a thrilling time!

After a day at Aquatica, drop in on the gang at Capone’s Dinner & Show. You can dry off, have a great meal and be entertained by a crazy cast of characters. It’s fun for the entire family and a great way to complete your day experiencing Orlando at two of it’s finest attractions.
