There are numerous Italian restaurants in Kissimmee. You have your typical chain restaurants of  Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Olive Garden, Romano’s Macaroni Grill and Sweet Tomatoes. These are wonderful places to dine at in Kissimmee, especially if you do not want to try new places. Their menus are very similar from one location to another. However, if you are looking for something different, and are craving Italian, you might want to consider one of the following restaurants in Kissimmee.

If you are looking for a restaurant in Kissimmee that isn’t too pretencious, La-Forchetta Ristorante (321 S. John Young Pkwy., Kissimmee, FL) will fit the bill. Their food is of good quality and the prices are fair. The decor is somewhat dated, yet many diners feel it adds to the authenticity of a old-world Italian restaurant. Be sure to save room for their desserts; the tiramisu and cheese cake with cherry sauce is a favorite. Tighten your belt – come in a small car – the parking is “skinny!”

Another local unique Italian Restaurant in Kissimmee is Tarantino’s Italian Restaurant in downtown Kissimmee (4150 West Vine Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741). The food is authentic and priced well with large portions, especially their pizza and calzones. It might be a good idea to have a reservation if dining during the height of the evening meal. If you are just stopping by though, have a seat at the bar and enjoy the excellent service at this restaurant in Kissimmee.

As warned at this Kissimmee restaurant, ‘if you want a chain restaurant, head down the road,’ Bruno’s is a one-of-a-kind Italian restaurant. It may be a little hard to find along the busy Highway 192; find it at 8556 West Highway 192 in Kissimmee, FL. The Italian New Yorker will be comfortable here as well as filled with a delicious meal. The menu is quite extensive, so there should be something to satisfy everyone in your party.

A favorite amongst locals and visitors is Pacino’s Italian Ristorante (5795 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746) primarily because of it’s location and great service. Not too far for locals to drive to, and within walking distance of several hotels and time-shares. The service here is excellent, and even when busy, this restaurant in Kissimmee runs efficiently.

A new Italian restaurant, technically not in Kissimmee, but in Orlando, is Siro Urban Italian Kitchen. This is the area’s newest restaurant located in the Orlando World Center Marriott. Formerly known as Ristorante Tuscany, Siro offers an upscale dining experience for the resort guests as well as visitors. The menu will change with the seasons as this Orlando restaurant prides itself on the philosophy “from farm to fork.” Now that’s fresh!

A few other Italian restaurants in Kissimmee to check our are Venezia II Italian Restaurant in Old Town; Little Italy and Christina’s Italian Restaurant. These non-chain restaurants in Kissimmee just might be what you are looking for. Good Italian cuisine with various locations – hopefully one is near where you are staying or live.

Of course our favorite Italian restaurant in Kissimmee is Capone’s Dinner & Show. Their delicious dinner buffet is filled with Italian/American favorites.  There are many options for the kiddies too. This is definitely the place to bring a group of people who want to have a fun evening out. The food alone is worth the price of their half-off admission ticket (available online), but to receive the outstanding entertainment along with the meal is an excellent value. Your evening will be filled with approximately 3 hours of dining and fun, plus a life-long memory of a one-of-a-kind Kissimmee restaurant.
