Bikertoberfest at KSCBikers are rolling into Central Florida for Biketoberfest, so be sure to “Look Twice, Save A Life.” What used to be a Daytona Beach only event has spread out all over to include Orlando and everywhere in between. Even the Kennedy Space Center will be offering a Biketoberfest ticket package.

In front of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex stands the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit which makes for a great back drop for a photograph. Add the biker’s most beloved machine in front of the solid rocket boosters and you have a wonderful Biketoberfest souvenir. It isn’t every day you can ride your motorcycle and park it in front of the bright orange external fuel tank and stand next to it for an 8 x 10 photo. From October 17 – 20 (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) bikers can do just that. The Biketoberfest special costs $70 and includes admission, parking and the photo.

KSC also announced this week that they are offering three new annual pass options. With Biketoberfest leading into the holidays, now is a great time to purchase these passes, especially if you will have family visiting or vacation time coming. There are a lot of new things to do and see at the Visitor Complex. The annual pass options include:

Discovery Pass: $75 plus tax for adults, $60 plus tax for children ages 3-11

  • Unlimited admission for one year
  • 10% off admission tickets for up to six guests per visit
  • A Discovery Pass lanyard
  • The Visitor Complex newsletter

Atlantis Pass: $89 plus tax for adults, $71 plus tax for children ages 3-11

  • All Discovery Pass benefits
  • Free parking
  • 10% off souvenirs, food and beverage
  • 10% off Astronaut Training Experience® and Camp KSC®
  • Exclusive special events and privileges
  • An Atlantis Pass lanyard

Explorer VIP Pass: $139 plus tax adults and children

  • All Discovery Pass and Atlantis Pass benefits
  • One free KSC Up-close tour (available after the government shutdown is over)
  • One free lunch with an Astronaut

  • An Explorer Pass lanyard

Whether you are a biker or just a space lover, now is the time to go to KSC. Even though the bus tours remain suspended due to the government shut down, there is plenty to do. If you’ve come to Central Florida and have the desire to join the Biketoberfest activities and see Central Florida on two wheels, check out EagleRider. They are located near the airport and have plenty of motorcycle rentals.

As always, Capone’s Dinner & Show welcomes bikers and all groups that want to have a great evening out at an Orlando dinner show. Whether you ride 2-up or come with a big ol’ biker gang, the wise guys and beautiful dancing girls will entertain and show you a great time. In fact, some motorcycle clubs make Capone’s Dinner & Show an annual event. Meet up as a group and ride on in. Parking is free for everyone. You only need 15 adults to get a group rate. Ride safe and enjoy Biketoberfest and all that is offered here in Central Florida!
