Shopping and gift exchanges can certainly consume your time and holiday spirits, however, many people will take this time of the year to visit The Holy Land Experience. A day at this Orlando theme park just might be what is needed to balance the religious side of Christmas with the commercial side. Regardless of your religious beliefs, this attraction will lift your spirits.

A nightly World Walking Tour has been added for the rest of the year. Every evening at 6:00 p.m., guests at this Orlando attraction will enjoy glorious lights, Christmas trees with fabulous decorations, seasonal music and view incredible Streets of Gold. More than 10,000 lights fill the sky and can be seen from miles away!

The tour is included in park admission which is: $45/day for adults, youth (ages 6-12) are $30/day and children (ages 3-5) are $15/day. Group rates are available. Additional expenses while visiting this attraction include dining (several restaurants are available), shopping (various shops are on site) and donations should you feel charitable. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit holylandexperience.com.

Several shows are performed throughout the day warming the hearts of the audience. Shows such as “Sermon on the Mount,” “Four Women Who Loved Jesus,” “Forgiven,” “Passion of the Christ Live Drama” and many more shows are performed daily. The Christmas story “The Fullness of Time Has Come” is also told, unlike any other you have ever seen. Not only does it cover the traditional Christmas story, but it also touches upon what was going on in Heaven leading up to Christ’s birth.

Enjoy a stroll through the wax museum, view beautiful art depicting the life of Christ, and even witness a baptism (based on visitor participation). Children can tackle a kid-friendly rock climbing wall and visit Jonah in the belly of the whale. Your kids will enjoy this park before they arrive by playing one of their fun and educational games online. All ages will enjoy this Orlando theme park.

During the holiday season, why not take some time to reflect on the “reason for the season?” The Holy Land Experience will take you 7,000 miles away and 2,000 years back in time to the land of the Bible. It’s educational, historical, theatrical and most of all, inspirational. Inspiration is one feeling many of us could use this time of year!

After your day at this Orlando theme park, enjoy a dinner show at Capone’s Dinner & Show only a short drive away. While the gang there will only take you back in time to the 1930’s (as opposed to Biblical days), it is still a great way to complete a day.
