If you love music as much as we do, Capone’s Dinner & Show would like to recommend the live blues and jazz event that is happening this Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Harry P. Leu Gardens. Imagine groovin’ on some fine tunes as you relax in your lawn chair under a starry sky. With Spring-time breezes and the summer humidity and heat coming in the next few months, there won’t be many other opportunities to enjoy an event like the Spring Jazz & Blues Stroll.
Harry P. Leu Gardens is a 50-acre botanic oasis located in the heart of Central Florida at 1920 North Forest Ave., Orlando, FL 32803. While this attraction is usually enjoyed in the daytime when you can view the beautiful gardens, this evening event starting at 7:00 pm will offer a beautiful garden setting with candlelit walkways.
Dinner at this show will be totally up to you. We recommend packing a picnic basket and a blanket or lawn chairs. There is lawn seating only, no stadium or arena-type seating available. Vendors will be selling coffee and pastries should you not want to bother with packing up your own dinner.
Tickets are already on sale for this event for $15.00 plus tax for General Admission, $11.00 plus tax Garden Member and $20.00 plus tax day of the stroll for members and nonmembers. Tickets are limited, nonrefundable and nontransferable to other garden activities. Purchase advance tickets in person at Leu Gardens every day from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm or by phone 407.246.2620. The last day to purchase tickets over the phone is Friday, April 8 until 1:00 pm, if available. The Garden House will open at 6:00 pm for Will Call tickets.
If you enjoy jazz and blues music, you’re sure to enjoy the smooth sounds of the Robert Harris Group, soulful Bobby Blackmon and Dave Capp Project. Each band will feature favorite songs as well as originals.
