If you’re seeing a lot of “surfers,” “gardeners” and “boaters” around town this weekend, it might be due to the very busy Orange County Convention Center. This weekend the OOCC is hosting three very popular expos. Surf Expo – USA and the Orlando Home and Garden Show which this year also includes the Orlando Boat Show.

The Surf Expo (Thursday, Jan. 12 – Saturday, Jan. 14) ranks high in popularity with more than 12,000 – 15,000 visitors attending every year. The sport of surfing is so popular, a trade show such as this is bound to bring in a lot of interested businesses and visitors. The Orlando Home and Garden Show (Friday, Jan. 13 – Sunday, Jan. 15) is one of the more famous events held in Florida and is gaining popularity every year. Watch for a very ‘fruitful’ attendance this year.

At Surf Expo – USA many informative seminars take place focusing on the latest developments and happenings within the sport. An extensive array of surfing, skating, diving and swimming accessories are on exhibit, as well as high quality boutique and resort services. Fashion shows and interactive demonstrations also add to the overall attraction of this event. More than 3,500 brands are showcased and corporate participants are provided with ample business networking opportunities. Attendees from locations including South America and the Caribbean islands are sure to enjoy this expo.

The public is invited to attend, so if you’re around the International Drive area, be sure to stop in. There are attractive gift items and souvenirs also exhibited at the show. The show is open from 9 am to 6 pm on Jan.12 and 13 and from 9 am to 5 pm on Jan.14. The cost is $30. For more information go to biztradeshows.com.
