The wise guys at Capone’s Dinner & Show want to warn you… If you are traveling on or near Central Florida Parkway today, specifically across from SeaWorld, you might notice a bit of excitement. This is the area where Florida’s first Wawa will open today. This new convenience store is just one of five in the Orlando area that will be opening in the next few weeks. This is good news for tourists, shoppers and for those in need of employment.

Wawa convenience store

There are nearly 600 Wawa stores in the Northeast, and they employ 18,000 associates throughout portions of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. They offer a large fresh food selection, including Built-to-Order® Hoagies, freshly brewed coffee, the Sizzli® hot breakfast sandwich, quality dairy products and Wawa brand juices and teas. All Wawa stores feature a wide selection of ready-to-go salads and fresh fruits.

So if you’re needing to fill up the gas tank, or your stomach during the day, check out the new Wawa. The store is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank and will donate a portion of the profits from first week sales at this store and the others soon to open. They hope to raise $25,000.

Just don’t get too full at the Wawa. You’ll want to save plenty of room for our delicious Orlando dinner show at Capone’s Dinner & Show. You won’t have to eat your food on the go either. Our joint is no convenience store and our food is as fresh and delicious as home-made! Just reserve your seats and come enjoy the salad and bread sticks at your table and fill up at the buffet. Then sit back, enjoy the show and have a blast!

Fun fact: “Wawa” is a Native American word for the Canada Goose that was found in the Delaware Valley. You will see a goose used on Wawa’s corporate logo.
