There are many people that absolutely love Halloween. If you are one of those people, you should know Halloween at Capone’s happens year-round. Sort of. Here’s the rumble…

First, let’s make things clear. Halloween at Capone’s is celebrated only one night, and only if Halloween doesn’t fall on a Monday. Currently, Capone’s is closed on Mondays. However, many of the reasons this holiday is liked so much happen year-round at this Kissimmee dinner show. A few reasons for liking Halloween include:

  • free candy
  • excuse to party
  • opportunity to dress up and role-play
  • creative decorations
  • many other reasons

Halloween at Capone’s = An Original Outfit

Certainly, attending a dinner show is often thought of as a festive occasion. It isn’t something you do every night. And like any other festive occasion, the right clothes are very important. Capone’s Dinner & Show encourages people to ‘play the part’ and wear the ultimate “original outfit” – an outfit that fits the prohibition era. After all, we KNOW about outfits! Guests who dress up have more fun. Period. The original outfit is indeed a ritual for Halloween. It is also a ritual for many attending Capone’s any time of the year.

For example, here are just a few of the photos of guests dressing the part (photos submitted on Facebook):

Most importantly, wearing a costume allows people to let go of their inhibitions. Year-round Halloween at Capone’s does the same thing. Be that gangster or flapper girl and have fun pretending to be someone else. Moreover, wearing a costume can be extremely liberating! For some couples, it certainly offers a perfect time for romance. Need an excuse for a date night? Make reservations at Capone’s and come dressed for the occasion. Who doesn’t love a wise guy in a fedora or a sexy kitten with a feather boa?! It’s great for a date!

Halloween is an Excuse to Celebrate

Likewise, Halloween is a great excuse to party and celebrate. Have an anniversary? How about a birthday? Family reunion? It doesn’t have to be Halloween at Capone’s to celebrate it! At Capone’s, every night is a celebration. We recognize special occasions and various milestones and enjoy playing a part in whatever our guests are celebrating. Therefore, you need to let us know in advance. We advise including the celebration details in your order at the time you make your reservation as well as a follow-up call to our box office. Something this big should not be missed!

Free Prizes

Consequently, on the night of Halloween at Capone’s, you won’t receive a bag of candy, but there are prizes. On any given night our wise guys and doll faces secretly hand out prizes in a portion of our show referred to as a gangster give-away. Guests feel like it is trick-or-treating every night of the year. Some win the treat, and some do not. What is the trick to winning a prize? Attend the show and discover it for yourself.

Have a Historic Halloween

Halloween goes back to an ancient Celtic custom. The tradition of Halloween came to the United States in 1840, with the arrival of a group of Irish immigrants. From there it slowly evolved into our modern-day version. The history of Halloween is quite interesting, and you may want to read all about it (click the link).

Finally, if the prohibition era is appealing to you, Halloween at Capone’s is the place to be any day of the year. Make a historic visit to Capone’s theater. You’ll swear you’ve stepped back in time. Play the role and get into the act. You’ll have a blast and your visit will be a treat you’ll remember for years to come.
