Many people find Al Capone and the Prohibition Era intriguing. It was a fascinating time in America’s history. Gangsters and flapper girls were a part of every day life, especially in larger metropolitan areas. Today, many people like to re-live that era in our history. I’ve seen bars and rec rooms decorated with Al Capone memorabilia.  I’ve been invited to prohibition era-themed parties. As a rule, it is easy to dress for these costume parties, especially now that fedora hats have come back in style!

The Capone’s Dinner & Show Gift Shop recently added numerous items that could be of interest to any Al Capone fan, prohibition era lover and anyone attending a costume party (which, this time of year includes a LOT of people). The “Al Capone Gift Shop” still contains many Capone’s Dinner & Show souvenirs, but the shift has been made to also include Al Capone memorabilia that does not have the dinner show logo. The gift shop now contains Al Capone T-shirts, Al Capone Posters, Al Capone Photographs, Al Capone Shot Glasses and more. They also have gangster style fedora hats, flapper headbands and other prohibition era clothing or costume accessories.

This Al Capone poster is just one of four the Al Capone Gift Shop has. I can easily see a rec room or bar with these hanging on the wall. They measure 18″ x 24″ and you can buy them unframed for just $9.99.

These photos of Al Capone have a sepia tone added to them and come unframed for $4.99. The set of four make a nice arrangement on a wall in an office or billiard room.


T-shirts are always a great way to show your interest in the gangster era and now Al Capone’s Gift Shop has 9 newly designed Al Capone T-shirts. Many of these shirts contain famous quotes from Al Capone. They are designed in a fun way. For instance, this FEAR shirt; from afar, you would only read the word “FEAR” – as if it were your name tag. Then up close, you can read the entire quote. Very fun, and I know a lot of ladies that should purchase the “TROUBLE” shirt! Hot pink on a black shirt – nice! The wise guys at Capone’s indicate more Capone shirt designs are on their way.


If you collect shot glasses, you’ll definitely want to check these out. One has Al Capone’s mug shot on it. Get it? Mug SHOT on a SHOT glass? They are nice quality frosted glasses for only $3.99 ea. Word is, they will be adding more of these great ‘mug shots’ so keep checking this site for updates. I’ll keep you posted. Who doesn’t need a set of shot glasses for their bar?


Now, if you are looking for costume accessories for Halloween, you can’t beat the price on Al Capone’s Gift Shop fedora hats (from $6.99 to $12.99). Even the ladies enjoy wearing these out on the town. They are perfect for Halloween costume parties and come in many colors. They even have some with sequins on them! No properly dressed gangster should be without one of these gangster fedora hats. Many guests attending the show will pick these up on their way into the theater.
