Happy Cinco de Mayo from the Capone’s Gang!

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone! It’s a great excuse for a party, however, some things are just better left for others to handle. Al & the gang will leave the sombreros, tequila, tacos and mariachi bands for other establishments to feature. We’re busy with our all-new show!

Cinco de Mayo at Capone's

Some things are just better left for others!

New Show at Capone’s on Cinco de Mayo

The new show is faster-paced, hysterically funny and filled with loads of action. There is more audience interaction than ever before. Not only do the men get to have some fun on stage, now the ladies and children (seasonal) will also get to play a part! It’s all a part of our 25th anniversary party, where YOU get the presents.

Purchase Half Price Tickets Now

As always, we feature cold Bud Light Draft and other drinks – all included in your ticket and unlimited. Skip the tacos tonight and fill up with a huge selection of fresh, hot Italian/American favorites. With such a large buffet, you’ll be ready for a siesta. Good luck with that though… You’ll have a hard time getting any rest during our new show. It’s raucous fun and the gangster shoot out is full of action. Everyone has a chance at winning prizes!

Skip wearing a sombrero tonight and sport a fedora or a feathered boa on Cinco de Mayo. Spend it with the gang at Capone’s Dinner & Show. Instead of Mexico, you’ll think you’ve landed back in prohibition times in the heart of gangland Chicago. If not, there are plenty of other late-night parties to go to if you want to wear a sombrero and celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Orlando.

Wherever you decide to enjoy the festivities, don’t forget to plan ahead for a designated driver or a cab….. drink responsibly.

Diviértase y Disfrute de la Celebración!

George, a.k.a. Lefty (now that he is a ‘made’ man) came all the way from Conyers, Georgia just to see the show! Imagine that. What a dedicated family member! Seeings this was Lefty’s first time at our speakeasy, the wise guys and gals had the honor of showing him around. And around. All left turns. Sees that’s why he’s known as “Lefty.” Not because he writes with his left hand. No, he makes a lot of left turns and never wants to be left out!

April’s Grand Prize Winner

“Lefty” was the big winner of April’s anniversary prize.

April’s Grand Prize Winner Experience

Lefty’s favorite part of the show was the food and atmosphere. He was also partial to the staff. Yous sees we work hard to treat yous like family. Only the best will do for our guests!

In fact, Lefty liked the entire Capone’s dinner show experience. He had nothin’ he didn’t take a liken to. What an easy going fella!

Lefty’s prize was $250 in cash and a “C” note to spend in our gift shop. Knowin’ this pal, he’ll probably waste his prize on broads and booze. Okay, so it’s not a waste. We know many of yous would do the same. At least he ‘left’ with some great souvenirs from our gift shop. We have T-shirts, wine glasses, beer mugs, posters, keychains and many other items for sale. Be sure to pick up something to remember your night with the family before or after the all-new show.

Speaking of family, thankfully, Lefty’s family told him about our speakeasy. When relatives show up on your doorstep, Capone’s is a great place to take ‘em to. Where else can you feed a free-loader and keep them entertained for over 2 hours for less than $36 (including tax)? Regardless of the age of your company, our joint is one of the best entertainment values in the Orlando area.

Again, we’d like to congratulate April’s grand prize winner, George Seal. Capone’s Dinner & Show hopes that the evening’s experience was the cat’s meow and will be a great memory for years to come.

Vacation Home Rentals

Another option for bringing your pet(s) with you while staying in Orlando includes vacation home rentals. If you know of other pet-friendly accommodations, or have had an experience with any of the hotels listed above, please leave a comment. We want your Central Florida vacation to be a great experience for you and the furry ones in your family!

Capone’s Dinner & Show does not allow pets into the theater, however, we do allow certified service dogs – if we must. Please note that during the shoot out, loud noises and raucous activity can scare service animals. Please don’t put them through this. If at all possible, make other arrangements and leave them at home or with a friend. To make you more comfortable during the show, please let us know about any disability at the time of your reservation. Thank you for your understanding.

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas – Are You Ready?

The Easter Bunny has come and gone, now for some Mother’s Day gift ideas. With Easter being late this year, there are a lot of folks that might be surprised to know that Mother’s Day in Orlando is just around the corner! So soon, in fact, that many sons, daughters, husbands and significant others are not ready for this special date. Are you?

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

How will you honor the mother in your life this year? The #1 gift is giving flowers. While this is nice, it should be way down on your list of thoughtful ways to show your appreciation. Flowers are pretty, but come on, they die! It’s not practical and most moms I know, really don’t WANT them for Mother’s Day. Plants are a little better, but at least offer to help water it every once-in-a-while.

Then there are the gifts of candles and perfume. Nice smell, but just a way to make up for, or cover up the dirty laundry/odors Mom has to put up with each day.

If you’re giving her a technology product, make sure it is for HER. Don’t give her the fish finder you’ve been dreaming of, or the gaming system the kids have been begging for. Personally, I bought 3 iPods for my children years before someone was thoughtful enough to buy one just for me!

The spa/massage/pampering gifts are very nice; you’re getting warmer. Jewelry is great – if you can afford it and the selection matches her taste. Save the receipt in case she wants to exchange it. Chocolates and candy are nice – if Mom isn’t on a diet or weight conscious. If she is checking the scales, help her out by not placing these temptations near her.

Taking her out to dinner is an excellent Mother’s Day gift idea. Not only does it give her a break from kitchen duties at home, but she also gets to spend TIME with her loved ones, which is quite often what a mother really wants on Mother’s Day. Time that is spent honoring her, not forcing her to plan a meal, clean up, entertain, care for others, etc. Time when others are caring for her.

If you’d like to cover more than one traditional gift for mom this year, take her and the entire family out for a dinner and a showCapone’s Dinner & Show! Go ahead and get the kids up early and serve Mom breakfast in bed. (PLEASE clean up the kitchen before you let her see the mess you’ve made!) Print out the special Mother’s Day page Capone’s has online and insert it in her mother’s day card. Give it to her early in the day, so she knows that by late afternoon/early evening, you’ll have the kids all cleaned up and ready to go to the show.

Pick up any nearby friends and relatives on the way and get ready to have a blast! Capone’s is giving all mother’s a flower on Sunday evening, so if flowers are a tradition as a gift for you, Capone’s has you covered. If taking her out to dinner is tradition, Capone’s has you covered. If taking her to a show is tradition,Capone’s has you covered! It’s fun for all ages, so the mother in your life doesn’t have to choose between an evening with adults or an evening with kids – everyone gets to enjoy dinner & a show!

Tickets are just $32.99 per adult (when you order online) and $20.99 per child (4-12). If you have a large group, you can get a group discount, but you’ll have to call 1-800-220-8428 (ask for Lori) to find out more details about group rates. It’s a simple solution for a great gift for the mother in your life. Hope you’re ready for a fantastic Mother’s Day in Orlando! We are!!
